There are many ways you can test a market most of which require a certain capital investment. In this article however I’m going to explain to you a method that not only does not require a capital investment but will make you money while your at it.
My favorite route for finding profitable market is by far niche marketing. It is an easy way to find good markets and the properties you create will pay out for the rest of your life.
One of my favorite websites to use for niche marketing is Hubpages.com. This is a revenue sharing website that lets you publish articles and media on just about anything you can think of. It also has built in analytics so you can see which of you hubs are bringing in the most traffic.
The strength of Hubpages is such that it will allow even single articles to get traffic as if it were a larger website so you can gauge the viability of a niche or keyword just based on one article.
After creating a few Hubpages on several different niche then you just need to analyze the results. If a niche or two starts getting good amounts of traffic I would recommend writing a larger network of hubs for each niche and see how well the traffic does.
The way you can make money with this method is from Hubpages revenue sharing structure. You need to sign up with Adsense first and then plug in your Adsense ID with Hubpages.
There will be ads displayed on each hub and any time someone click on an ad you or hubpages will get paid depending on how it falls in the 60/40 split. Hubpages is pretty generous about it too since their site has so much authority.
This is my favorite way to discover if the market you’re thinking of getting into will allow you to make money selling products or pushing someone else’s.
Once you find a niche that is profitable you can go ahead and create a website that is centered around that niche. From here there are several monetization methods that make sense.
