1. Your product or service must add value for the sender and recipient.
2. Your offer must be deliverable. When you offer a product, make sure that you can deliver it even the demand rise quickly.
3. The offer has to be easily transferable to others. E-mail and Web pages provide the best medium to facilitate this.
4. The best viral marketing campaigns use existing networks to move the message along.
The foundation of viral marketing has been there for almost a long time. The scenario is that you provoke your customers or referral sources to transmit something about your product or service to their networks, such as friends, relatives and colleagues. Those who help you transmit your information get something in return of that favor. It may be a coupon or discount card connected to your business.
Almost everyone uses computer and internet. Marketers take advantage of that, they use the internet to promote their product or services. They can easily relay messages on people through the use of email. Email helps them to increase their popularity, especially if it is for free. Viral marketing is free and a great tool on promoting your business. You post an offer and you have networks and referral sources, viral marketing multiply by itself.
On implementing viral marketing in your business, first, you need to start to your customer. Provoke existing customers to refer newbie’s. Second, rely to your referral sources. Your outside network, colleague or service providers can encouraged someone to be your referrals that may lead to business.
If you know your customers are stressed from their business, recommend some reward that will provides relaxation and leisure, a holiday trip or spa treatment will do.
Remember that in order for your viral marketing to succeed you must offer your customer something that is more unique and contains fun.
