I agree that network marketing can be a trying experience. In today’s competitive, capitalistic society, it has become the survival of the fittest. This industry will show you your strenghts and weaknesses alike. But with that knowledge you can make the neccessary changes to become what you desire to become.

By now you know that there is a price to be paid in network marketing. If you’re willing to pay that price, you will have a bright future in network marketing. You already have what it takes to become a success story, but we let our own fears block us from achieving greatness.

Here’s something I learned: Prospecting and recruiting is an emotional event that is usually is driven by fear. It’s all about the way you think, really. It boils down to the psychology of leadership.

How is it that some people can sponsor new distributors without any effort at all, it seems? Other very talented people struggle for long periods of time and never sponsor anyone.

Sponsoring, prospecting and recruiting has nothing to do with scripts or even what you say to people. It’s not about having the exact rebuttal to an objection or anything like that. It boils down to the way you THINK about sponsoring that makes all the difference.

This will shock you, but the goal is not to SELL people on your product or opportunity. A big problem arises when you try and sell in this industry. Especially when you’re promoting your business opportunity.

  1. I agree that selling is out of the question.this is why so many people hate and
    are uncomfortable using the really stupid sales pitches that just about all mlm companies and or uplines told you to do.

    The Internet has dramatically changed the status quo and sponsoring can be
    done utilizing technology while keeping the human touch and building life long
    friendships and business partners. The choice is up to the individual .

  2. Bruce, I agree with you full heartedly. Rushing in to sell, before nurturing the friendship or contact is probably the death of many a potential deal.

    People don't like to be sold, but they do like to think that they have discovered things of possible future value on their own.
