This video is part of the new campaign at FurIsEvil.org to challenge Google to lead the way to a fur-free future by banning fur ads on Google’s global ad network. The video does NOT contain any graphic violence. Just the truth about Google’s role in the fur business. (Please see credits for sources of all images used in this video.)

im all for capitalism and i dont believe animals have all rights over human beings but the extremes just piss me off…it is UN-HUMAN to cause an animal to suffer…just because we are highest on the food chain doesnt give us the right to forget the suffering of other species, and i think we will be judged by GOD for our mistreatments of His creations, not for eating or wearing them…people who treat animals in this way have no heart, all because the price of carbon dioxide is too hefty?
@FurIsEvil hmm… well bounty or no bounty– people like us say animals should be allowed to heed their instincts. run. mate. raise litters. hunt. etc… what about humans? animals can kill animals, and so can people… frankly, people are even nicer about it than wild predators. wolves actually gut and eat moose alive from the back to the front. ow. hehe… i happen to be fascinated with fur… and i plan on surrounding myself with it. lucky for the critters i prefer yards to cages
@smileygriller Well, at least I’m glad your open-minded enough to discuss the issue. Thanks for that.
I don’t believe god (or God) gave us any bounty, as I don’t believe in any supreme deity and certainly not the temperamental fellow in the bible.
I do however admire the teaching of Jesus a lot, which is where I learned about compassion.

@FurIsEvil ah, you are narrowminded. there is nothing wrong with using the bounty god gave us, and using it well. do you consider a quick, painless death animal abuse also?
@muninoghugin
Thanks for your comment. I think at some level, many farmers DO think they care about the animals in their “employ.” But I’ve talked to former fur farmers and looking back, they feel really, really upset about what they did.
I meant a former mink farmer in China. He now drives a cab. We got to talking, and he said, had he had more education and opportunities, he never would have done what he did. He also said he feels incredibly sad when he sees stray animals.

Thanks for commenting. When this business joins the history books as something we once did, but do no longer, I’ll be saying Amen too.
Thanks for commenting. Just to be clear, the person behind this campaign hasn’t worn leather shoes or any animal product in years.
And I totally agree that to single out fur,without mentioning leather is problematic.
But most people think in terms of categories, as do businesses.
But I need to think about this. I’m just a one-person campaign, But maybe I should expand to include leather as well. I know it’s a problem.
I’m vegan, so the only skin I wear is my own.
Thanks for commenting. The fur industry is in many ways far worse than other animal-exploiting industries. In many countries, the majority of people are adamantly opposed to what goes on in fur farms around the world. But many,many mainstream companies, like Google, continue to profit from it.
There is no way to *kill* a sentient being humanely, because there is nothing “humane” about killing something for profit. If you spoke of a human being being killed (against his or her will) for profit, few newspaper editors would even think of calling it “humane.”
whats the harm with fur if the animal is killed humanely? anyone care to protest humanely killing animals for their fur?
i fucking hate the fur industry. how could ppl even think of doing this. fucking sick… just wrong
Amen
The conditions in the fur farms ALL OVER THE WORLD are horrible.
Some countries have laws about how to treat fur farm animals but these laws are rarely followed – and who is checking up on the treatment of the animals?
Some fur farmers claim that they love animals – but if they kill thousands of animals every week do you really believe them?
Thank you Howie, Frosty and Duke for sharing this video with the rest of the world!!
animals can be killed pailessly, and this is what should happen. People are leather shoes, but no one talks about that.
well no cuz cows are herbivores, and while pigs are omnivores they would not eat anything our size cuz they arent wolves =p
umm……no but ferrets do =)
people just dont give a fuck do they?its like your 6 year old son or daughter on a summer day going through the yard when suddenly they suffer and die just from a trap…….leave the animals alone they didnt do shit to you people who like fur just go kiss of(fuck off)its cruel and sad at the same time.D;

Guys don’t you see? The future of these poor animals rest in our hands, as said on the video. Behind my weirdness and strangeness, (Watch my videos, you’ll understand) , deep down my heart bleeds for these animals. We have to do something, and I know I’m only a young child so I can’t do much but we really need to stand up and help these poor creatures.
So are Cows, Pigs,they would EAT & wear us if they could
Nope..
minks are cool, do they make nice pets?
fuck the rich people who can aford to buy a real fur of an animmal.if i was the government i kick all the bad people thet do thet for animmals or make them sufer the same.
Thanks for commenting, Pat.
I’m tired of seeing violence against small animals — in person or onscreen — and I’m hoping that more images of these animals showing all sides of their lives can move people to speak up and take action.
got the message without any violent images; sometimes that is even harder to stomach
