It would be great to find EASILY how to add a video extension; only map and phone extensions are proposed in my account. Anyone for help? Thanks
The biggest problem isn’t with the format, it’s that if you have a cool new product and want to show it in an adjacent market… You are “outcompeted” by the people’s whose product is directly relevant. Take the NexusOne phone. It would never outcompete the other phone ads on Google on its own merits, Quality Score, or bids – it is rather “unknown” and AdWords penalizes this. AdWords is great for known items, but very poor for new things people haven’t yet thought about.
As the creator of “PunchOut the Evil Kangaroo for $50 in Gift Cards”, “Swat the Fly and Get a Free Digital Camera”, “Shoot the Sneaky Watermelons for $1000 in Coupons”, and many other spam favorites, I am offended. *My* ridiculous spam ads never crashed.
I believe you can get the details by going to the “Google Ad Innovations” site. Sorry, guess YT doesn’t allow URLs to be posted to these comments so you’ll have to search for it.
where are we able to get access to these great new features?
Good thinking, but by no means Google should show any ad images by default! Text-only please, and images only if I click on the extension.
