Why not sign up on ebay??
Thats a large amount of E-commerce and security. I would go to pay-pal, set up an account and they have buttons you can add like, shopping cart, check out, and buy! That way pay-pal takes care of everything.
would help if you told us how you are creating the sites shopping cart…eg html, php, java script, choose your poison……so once you give that info I can be of more help to you…but adding carts is pretty easy…and I agree I would let someone who has done all the work for you like paypal and you can accept CC and echecks that way too…best of luck
what hosting are you using?
lots of hosting companies will have preinstalled shopping cart software that you can use. If you are not sure then give them a call first..if they have something already installed then best and easiest to use that before you go and try to install software on your own.
google the answer. I have come across lots of “free” stuff one can add to make a nice website. I do think paypal is a good choice however, having used it myself.
What products are you going to sell?
I am dying to know that myself. However since you already have a website how did you get that started. I don’t have money but I have a substantial inventory of depression glass and old costume jewelry. jordan274475@bellsouth if you have any suggestions. thanks
Paypal is really easy to use. My mom and I use it on our site and love it. It is so easy to get your payments, create buttons, and add shipping.
Cannot you copy it from paypal? or else you may contact a web developer at website like http://definitivelab.com/ to setup a shopping cart for your website.
It depends on how you are creating your site. There are lots of sources out there. Do you host your own site, do you use a provider?
You can use services as well, like Amazon WebStore. I believe their site is http://webstore.amazon.com
I have seen sites that are setup through them and you use the same shopping cart technology that Amazon.com uses.
