When it comes to health and anti-aging, it is hard to find better guidance than that offered by Oprah Winfrey. Several months ago, Oprah invited Dr. Mehmet Oz, a doctor originally from Turkey who specializes in cardiac problems and is known as an expert concerning reducing the problems caused by growing older, to speak on her show. What Dr. Oz presented was resveratrol; a scientific breakthrough in the fight against aging with which we all are forced to struggle.
Fight Toxins, Fight Aging
Antioxidants are naturally occurring substances that protect the body from oxidants-toxins that damage the tissues of the body, causing the visually evident wrinkles on the skin, as well as the less obvious damage to the body’s internal systems. Antioxidants help to defend the body, particularly its organs, brain cells, and the nervous system. Moreover, they help to remove the oxidants and even repair damage caused by the aging process.
Resveratrol and Sirtuins
Among antioxidants, resveratrol is one of the (if not the most) powerful found by our scientists and doctors. As a catalyst, resveratrol sends out a kind of “call to action” to one of the protectors of our immune systems: “Sirtuins.” Sirtuins are durable genes that assist in stopping cellular decay, allowing other cells to rejuvenate themselves. An aging individual who ingests resveratrol regularly-in large enough doses of course-will therefore notice that he or she has more energy, reduced fatigue, and a healthier appearance, complete with softened wrinkles and lines.
There are in fact numerous blessings derived from regularly imbibing resveratrol. This amazing antioxidant is capable of preserving the body’s immune system and even aids in the struggle against cancer. If your body is subject to radiation it will help to prevent radiation sickness. In addition, it is extremely beneficial to those of us who need to shed a few pounds.
Still, this is only the tip of the iceberg! Studies concerning resveratrol are still in their infancy, and GlaxoSmithKline has already invested almost a billion dollars to further our knowledge of this seemingly miraculous antioxidant.
A Naturally Occurring Substance
Identified in 1963 as “ko-jo-kon,” resveratrol has been used for a long time as a homeopathic remedy-derived from Japanese Knotweed-in Asia. While Japanese Knotwood would seem to be a rather obscure source of resveratrol, you might actually have some growing in your backyard! Knotwood has been identified as an invasive, virtually invincible weed in more than thirteen states. Its hardiness derives directly from the resveratrol it contains. Thus Knotwood is used by some in cooking, as a substitute for rhubarb, while companies have begun manufacturing supplements from it.
Another source of resveratrol is the peanut. Yes, the same peanut you can purchase at a supermarket has the capacity to improve your quality of life. Although peanuts have been traditionally considered to be very fatty and unhealthy, medical inquiries have demonstrated that those people who consume peanuts every day are healthier, with lower body fat than the majority of the population.
In 1992, resveratrol was discovered in both grapevines and the red wine produced by them. While the health effects derived from drinking a glass of red wine are becoming common knowledge, think about this: it takes somewhere around one thousand bottles of red wine to equal the amount of resveratrol found in a single day’s dose of a resveratrol supplement!

In the media as well as the news, resveratrol has been making a huge splash.
Television shows like Oprah have even gone as far as to recommend viewers to take this amazing supplement because of its great proven benefits.
In fact, Resveratrol was looked at in some ways as many as 17 years ago when 60 Minutes featured a show that looked at the benefits of red wine on one’s health. Red wine is one of the best sources of resveratrol in natural foods and drinks but of course, the effect can be compounded in supplement form.
Even clinical studies show the results of resveratrol. In one study, two mice were raised and given a high carb diet. However, one of the mice was also given a resveratrol supplement while the other one did not.
After time had passed, they were both weighed and it was found that the mouse that had received the resveratrol supplement was 30% thinner than the other mouse that had had the same life and diet except for the resveratrol supplement.
Interestingly, our bodies only absorb about 40-50% of the nutrients that are contained inside the foods that we consume. The excess components then remain in the body sometimes in fat tissues or other places for years at a time. These are considered toxic.
Resveratrol is an anti-oxidant and so it is able to get rid of these toxins in our bodies and make us healthy and thin again. Even after only a short time of use, resveratrol can have these great effects.
So, if you want to get the great benefits from resveratrol, I recommend trying out a resveratrol supplement like Resveratrol Ultra. Resveratrol Ultra is even being offered for a free trial now so that you can try it and see the results for yourself before having to spend any money.

The acai berry has been called a miracle fruit and super food that can help you lose weight, keep looking young and stay healthy. Acai berries are deep purple in color and grow in Central America’s Amazon jungle. The fruit is full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that our bodies need to stay healthy.
Clinical research has shown that the miracle fruit raises your metabolism level. This is absolutely vital in helping your body to burn off fat effectively and therefore lose weight. The fact that the berry boosts metabolism and also fights off aging and diseases due to the antioxidants are the main reasons why it has gained so much attention in recent years.
Acai berries have been consumed by people from the Amazonian rain forest for a long time. However, the berry has only been introduced into the United States within the last five year. As more and more people have been aware of the weight loss and health benefits of the fruit, is has grown in popularity.
Using the acai berry as a weight loss product is becoming more and more common. The more popular the fruit becomes, the more people there are who have questions about it. Something that many people are wondering about is if acai berries have any bad side effects.
First remember that acai berries are fruits. If you eat acai berries in an all-natural form, the odds of you suffering from a harmful side effect are about as high as they would be from eating an orange or apple. Many studies have been conducted on the acai berry and none of them have found any detrimental side effects.
The acai berry helps to suppress your appetite due to the fact that the fruit is high in fiber and your body’s metabolism also gets a boost. No wonder the berry has been so popular for losing weight. You just don’t want to eat an excessive amount of them or you could end up with stool problems or have a bitter taste left in your mouth.
So the answer is no, acai berries don’t really have side effects, although you still should consume them in moderation. However, when looking for an acai product to use, be sure to read the labels to find out if anything is added to the berry in the product. Although acai berries themselves are natural and not dangerous, there could be acai berry supplements or other products that have chemicals or other types of additives in them that are harmful or have not been fully tested.
If you are concerned about any potential side effects, stick to all natural supplements or the berry itself. The acai berry is rich in many of the minerals, vitamins and antioxidants your body needs to fight disease, stay healthy and burn fat. Be sure to read the labels carefully when choosing an acai berry product and if possible choose an all-natural supplement.

Buy Acai now! Acai scam rocks google! Acai closes Google content network! These are the headliners floating around subject lines in emails. What really is Acai and why should google have been affected?

Acai Berry
I can’t attest to whether it is the strongest antioxidant one can find growing naturally but I can say that as antioxidants go many of the strongest alkaline vegetables are also amongst the better antioxidants. Fruits such as the Concord Grape, Blue Berry and alkaline vegetables like Kale, garlic and in fact the entire onion family are amongst the strongest antioxidants. The Acai berry and acai berry juice are not nearly as strong as the strongest of these, however from an antioxidant point of view acai is definitely stronger than both orange juice and cranberry.
For the untutored, most of us take in a considerable amount of free radicals in acidic foods. Free radicals wreak havoc with nearly any biological cellular structure that they come into contact with since electronically they attempt to bond with an opposite charge. Free radicals don’t really care what part of your body’s cellular system they bond with. Just imagine them as tireless destructive workers taking tiny chunks out of cellular tissue.
Acai, Alkavita, garlic, onions, Goji, vitamin E, vitamin C and other medium to high level antioxidants are highly sought after for this reason. Some doctors with the anti-aging clinics actually postulate that ongoing free radical damage is one of the key causes of aging.
Ok, so much for the quick biology lesson on antioxidants.
So, why Scam? Why is Acai being associated with scams and why would google care? Well for one, this product overlaps of two of the three most profitable niches online – health and fitness. But this doesn’t make it a scam, in truth, when cold pressed and handled properly, leaving out claims of being able to miraculously drop 30 pounds in a week, the product is highly beneficial.
I was reading the blog of a well known cpa marketer last week and he said that mysteriously a number of his ad campaigns were being shutdown by Google then restarted hours later. After some experimentation he found that his ad campaigns were only running a few hours a day on the google content network.
After some discussion with Google engineers, it came to light that the overly aggressive re-billing by certain companies promoting this acai product had raised such a stink that Google engineers were forced to shut down large parts of the content network in order to deal with the problem.

Acai Diet scam or not ?
I can’t imagine that the bean counters at Google were overly happy about this situation, but you must imagine how large the problem had become when such drastic measures had to be taken.
If you are a marketer beware of promoting products that have aggressive re-billing schedules. You might be held liable if the FDA comes down on a bunch of promoters. If you are actually interested in the acai berry as a consumer beware of the actual process used to package the product and the aggressiveness of the offer itself. Remember that if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.
