There are some basic truths you need to understand if you plan to be successful in MLM. If you work hard and apply these rules your results can be through the roof. In Fact, you can build as big a business as you want.
Every month millions of dollars are changing hands in this business. Some of this wealth might as well go into your pocket. The way the economy is you can’t plan for any job to stick around. Why don’t you start your own network marketing business to get the wealth you deserve.
The number one truth is that MLM is based on numbers. The more people you talk to the greater the chance you will find someone interested. Along with this comes a lot of rejection. The fact is most people are to lazy to make it work or they don’t have the vision to be successful.
You will have a lot of people say no when you approach them with an offer. If you can’t handle a few no’s then you might as well go to work at a burger joint. The sad fact is most people will try to bury anybody else’s dreams. In order to be successful you must not buy into their negative attitude.
Network marketing is a game of numbers just like you find in any sales organization. There will be some average number of people you need to pitch in order to get one to sign up with you. Sales people have operated with this understanding for ever and it can really help you to stay positive.
This average number of people you need to talk to might be 1 in 4 or it might be 1 out of ten. The number really doesn’t matter. What does matter is for every rejection you are one step closer to finding some one who join up. If you keep promoting your plan and talking to people you will find success.
The best salesmen have always understood this reality. Every no just rejuvenates them because that is another no that is out of the way. Every rejection will get you closer to finding that great down line member because this is just a numbers game. Every successful network marketer will tell you that talking to enough people is the key to success in this business.
The second truth to remember is success in multi-level marketing comes from the organization you build. If you want to build a multi-million dollar business then you need to create an organization under you that will multiply your efforts.
Remember, nobody ever made any real money selling cosmetics or soap door to door. The only way to make the big money is to bring into your organization the people who will do the necessary work. As you find the right kind of people you will see good results in your bottom line.
Even with all the potential in MLM you must remember that it is not a business to strike it rich overnight in. If you or your down line are under the impression that you can sit at home watching TV and get rich you might as well go buy a Lotto ticket. This is just not going to happen.
Like any other lucrative business, a prosperous network marketing enterprise takes effort and work. But it can offer great reward if you do the work. I have found the biggest problem people have with operating their own business is they quit too early. They are all excited at first but then they have a few set backs and it is time to throw in the towel and quit.
You just need to realize that every business has things go wrong and that you can work through them. I have always wondered what the statistics are on people who gave up just before they found success. It takes hard work and determination to win at this game but if you keep moving forward you will find the success you are craving.
