So, I was online last night going through my emails. I will say that I have had a passion for learning all tactics and skills needed in order to build my network marketing business online. I am on the lists of every great Internet Marketers out there like Jonathan Budd, Brian Fanale, Cedrick Harris, Ryan Deiss, Mike Dillard, etc. There are a few others on that list as well. You can imagine my Yahoo inbox on a daily basis and somehow, I still get through the trainings, the videos, the long, drawn out sales letters that come faithfully each day! That said, these are the lists worth being on because they have proven their value to me and I enjoy the knowledge these folks bring to me personally.

I swear, every time I see a ‘Bonus,’ or ‘Secrets Revealed’ headline I shudder. I know if I keep reading I’m probably going to buy! I’m exactly the type of person those sales letters are designed for. I cannot tell you how many products, programs, ‘Blueprints,’ webinars, trainings, seminars (you get the hint) I have purchased in order to build my knowledge and skills. Last night I purchased ANOTHER one! A 6-week Facebook training that teaches you how to set up a successful fan page for your product, business or service. Oh, I already have a fan page, so what was I thinking? Who knows, but I do realize that self-development and furthering my knowledge of my industry is crucial to my success. I also believe, however, that one can over do it and has to draw the line in the sand. I’ve drawn it as of today!

Let me explain: As I went through the first module of training that I just purchased, I realized that I hadn’t learned anything I didn’t already know. Such a bummer….maybe. I’m a ‘glass half-full’ kind of girl so I look at it on a positive note. I still have 5 more modules to take and if I STILL don’t learn something than, I can be considered a Facebook Guru! Yeah! I’ve mastered Facebook!

Does that mean I move on to the next strategy to master? As I said, I’ve drawn the line in the sand. Sometimes you have to take a step back to see what is right in front of you. You see, I am a member of My Lead System Pro, the #1 Attraction Marketing System online for Network Marketers. The reason I didn’t learn anything new on these ‘Secrets Revealed’ trainings is because I’d already learned it from my back office trainings within MLSP!

What I have come to realize is that I already have the secrets to my successfully building a network marketing business online (and offline, of course) packaged up in this great little package called MLSP! The saying, ‘The grass is always greener’ is so evident in this situation. Sometimes what you have in front of you is so obviously apparent that is disappears in front of your eyes. Nothing that we learn about network marketing or internet marketing is brand spanking new! It’s spun in a way to make us THINK there’s a new twist, but its the same information written or said differently.

All that said, will I fall victim to the ‘Secrets Revealed’ Epidemic again! Heck, no! I will put my blinders on and simply implement what I’ve learned from MLSP! Will I purchase live seminars and trainings from the people I listed at the beginning of this article? Unequivocally, yes! Why? Because live events are powerful!

The information may be similar to what you know or have heard, but the people we meet and mingle with can become lifelong friends, confidants, business partners, etc. Powerful connections are made at these events and so far, in the last year out of every single live event I’ve attended, I have met at least one person who I have built a great relationship and friendship with. People who have my same interests, motivations and aspirations. These are people I can call when I’m having a frustrating day and my husband doesn’t understand. Sometimes that is more powerful than opening up another tattered-edged E-book promising to reveal the next unknown secret!

Don’t get me wrong. I in on way regret the investments I’ve made in my business during the ‘Secrets Revealed’ epidemic I fell into. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I am in a great place mentally because I feel confident. Confident that I have the ability to lead a network marketing organization and teach them the same blueprint I’ve used to reach success. I know what to recommend and what not to. That said, the first recommendation will be to become a member of MLSP. That truly is a ‘secret revealed!
