What To Say And Do If You Are New To Network Marketing

When you start in network marketing two of the hardest to answer questions in your mind whether it is offline or online are What Do I Do? and What Do I Say?

The first question is a left-brain logical question which your company will have a tried and tested logical answer to. You will be shown how to follow the marketing system of chosen business and follow what others have done before you to achieve success.

It may be things online like placing adverts, creating lead capture pages and social media or if it primarily being built offline it may be things like handing out flyers, DVD’s and approaching anyone within three feet of you to open up a line of conversation that may or may not result in a conversation to find out if the person is open minded to the idea of making extra income / and or looking for the type of product your business sells.

With all that information to get you started in a logical way you can then expect a fairly standard response to your next questions which is “What do I say?” That is an emotional question and therefore more complicated.

“What do I say when …XYZ happens equals fear” “What happens if someone calls my business a scam equals fear” “What happens if my friends and family start to think I’ve joined a strange cult! Equals fear”

Most network marketing company training answers all your emotional questions in the same way as your logical ones but they will not sit right with you because the buyers experience is to buy on emotion and justify with logic.

You will hear things like “It’s a numbers game” or “Just hand out more DVDs and flyers” or “Just refer our services to people like you would a restaurant.”

This has one serious flaw in it’s simplicity over 97% of all Network Marketers fail to find this comfortable or profitable but because “It’s all they have to run with” they try & try & try & try … until they quit thinking they have somehow failed. Well if 97% fail I believe the wheel needs reinventing. So thankfully the internet offers a very logical and emotional solution to the problem.

The internet allows you to experiment anonymously in your business, if you place and advert and someone does not like the look of your website or blog they will not contact you. If however someone sees an advert and arrives at your page and wants more information they simply opt in to your email list.

The internet is here to stay that is for sure so you can either choose to ignore it and get left behind or you can choose to embrace it and use it in your marketing. Imagine the feeling of having all your leads coming from your new warm market that you have built up through video, blogging and articles so that you have a built in filter for rejection free business building online.
