Do you wonder how your leader of your MLM group came to be? You want to be a leader but you feel like you need to have people in your downline to lead first. It’s the age old predicament, “Which came first, the chicken or the egg?” Well, you most definitely need to be a leader first to acquire the people in your downline, so the real question is: How do I become a leader when I have no one to lead?

Leaders have something to share. In the case of MLM leaders, usually what they have is knowledge and experience. If you don’t have much experience yet, but are trying to become a leader you must study to obtain the knowledge others are looking for. We hang on their every word to get a bit of their wisdom. Leaders gladly share secrets with their followers and are aware that this sharing is why they have followers.

Leaders have a posture about them that is very ‘alpha’. Not mean or aggressive, but rather unaffected by others attempts to squash their goals. They are above pettiness. A Leader knows she will rise to the top regardless of life’s obstacles. It’s easy to say that you will succeed, but a leader has to know, deep down, that they will.

Leaders want to help others succeed. A strong leader enjoys seeing other people achieve their dreams. In the MLM world, a leader who creates many successful people in his downline is rewarded both financially and emotionally.

Leaders must have what others want. It may be an attitude, money, success, confidence or any number of other factors, but the main point is that you MUST believe that you are a leader and believe that you have something of value to offer others. You absolutely cannot fake it! People will see right through you and follow someone else.

It is possible for anyone to become an MLM leader, but it takes extraordinary determination and desire. If you are willing to put in the hard work to change your inner self then you are one step closer to realizing your dreams.
