Since there are millions of websites out there in the search engines, it brings a lot of curiosity that revolves around the front pages. How do you search engines choose the top results? Well the answer is in complicated calculations. In order to reach the front page you will have to work within these limits.

When you first start out, lead instructors Ferny Ceballos and Raymond Fong believe you have to understand the basics. It’s just one of the many things the SEONetworker Mastermind Group will instill in you. Soon you will have your site at front of Google.

SEONetworker- How do Search Engines Work?

Search engine results are made up of three very important elements. The process is mathematically formulated to produce links and sites that suit the words or phrases you input in the search.

1. Web Crawler- Popularly known as a bot or spider these are programs that roam the internet. The web crawler is quite busy; it works to translate web sites and any links that are relevant to the page. It will begin by searching sites already in its database or index. When another page on the web is considered relevant, the web crawler will then add it to the index as well. This mean the database is continually growing and periodically the bot or spider will go back to the index and look at updates or new links on existing indexed sites.

2. Index- After the web crawler has roamed around the net the information on websites and pages are then stored in the index. If you update your WebPages or site the index also updates therefore it is also constantly growing.

3. Search Engine- Whenever a human does a search through their web browser the search engine goes to work, it is actually a software program that looks through all the information stored on the index. The mathematical part of the equation is the algorithm that then supports your final search results according to how relevant certain sites are to what you searched. Now the ranking of each returned page on the search is determined by the search engine turning on or off certain categories that it feels are relevant.

SEO Networker – Search Engine Goals

What it comes down to is the search engine’s main goal is to provide you with the most relevant links. SEO (search engine optimization) is what tests the effectiveness of the actual search engine. You will probably find slight variations in each search engine, but this is due to the particular algorithm for theirs. Your job is to improve your ranking based on the algorithm.

I Want on Page One of the Search Engine according to Ferny Ceballos and Raymond Fong

1. Links- This is where you reach the next level of your SEONetworker Mastermind strategies. You will be able to increase your visibility taking this route. If a relevant site is hosting your link, it’s possible it will show up in the results.

2. Page Summary- A lot of individuals overlook this area, but it’s still an important part. You should add meta tag names and keywords to this area in order to have a good balance. It will keep the search engines from shutting out your site completely.

3. Keywords- Everyone knows about keywords. One of the major things to refrain from doing is stuffing them into your site. In the end it will only lower your overall ranking. Rule of thumb is to stick to around 4 or 5 keywords per page.

4. URL- The more you share this with multi and single database services, the better off you will be. It also helps to add it in blogs, emails, and friend’s linking addresses.
