The Other Side Of The Story – Network Marketing Secrets

You’ve probably read lots of different articles and emails online outlining successful network marketing secrets. There are quite a few out there, and some offer some pretty good ideas. Most people are in search of an easier way to accomplish their online business goals, so this is a popular topic. Ultimately, the secret to successful network marketing is whatever works to develop a stranger into an associate or colleague in your network business.
There are many suggested techniques and ideas out there, but in one fundamental way many miss one key point. And this is also the area where the majority of network marketers make their critical mistake: As soon as a lead is generated, they jump in with a sales pitch.
Unfortunately, for most people a sales pitch is a total turn off. It achieves the opposite effect. You’ve probably experienced this yourself. Someone starts out by telling you how fantastic a company is and why you should join. Or they put out some kind of “Hurry! We’re only extending this special opportunity for a limited time so if you don’t join now you’re going to lose out!” message. For most people, this only sends up red flags of alarm.
The Secret is To Presell
If you’re looking for help in the preselling world, then Mike Dillard and Ann Sieg are both the answers. Mike founder of Magnetic Sponsoring, and Ann derives from Renegade Network Marketer. They have always preached the importance of preselling, and why you need to attract and teach prospects before asking for the sale.
Many network marketers don’t take their advice. They are too impatient and too eager, and they jump in there and give that sales pitch time and time again. But this is their critical mistake. You can do things differently-and you can succeed using this essential secret to network marketing success simply by following their advice.
Preselling involves taking an interest in educating your prospect. When you do that, you never need to give a sales pitch at all! The relationship evolves naturally and is much stronger than if you tried delivering a sales pitch. Here’s how it works when done correctly:
1. Your lead funnel lands a prospect (perhaps someone comes to your landing page).
2. You learn about this prospect (perhaps they provide their email address inquiring about your free report). Of course, this prospect is immediately expecting you to come on strong with a sales pitch, as most network marketers do. But you surprise this prospect when you deliver no sales pitch at all. Instead, you provide information that talks about how they can focus on their own goals.
3. As time moves along you teach and educate them on the benefits and ways of building an online empire. You talk about providing others with valuable information, and anything else except anything resembling a sales pitch.
4. After several weeks your prospect has given you his or her trust. They believe you are someone who is interested in helping them succeed. The next action will be them asking what network company you are attached to online. In fact, you will notice that many of them ask how they can join you.
Are all the pieces starting to take shape? When you are able to presell yourself, they begin to see the importance of their long range plans. In the end, this is one of the best kept network marketing secrets.
