Bob Brinker Busted!

Well Bob you missed it again, how much more do we believe.
Here is an update.
Now this isn’t a bad thing unless you lost money behind it and if you did you must not have been paying attention to the real estate market or doing your home work on what stocks were doing.
I said in the first review of Bob Brinker,
“Do not just arbitrarily throw your money into the market just because some guy has you thinking that they know what they are talking about.”
This is what Mike from Oregon has to say about Bob Brinker,
Mike from Oregon, USA 2008-10-05 I have been a MT subscriber for about 6 years. Bob correctly called the end of the dot com boom in January 2000, and told everyone to sell all holdings. Consequently, I rode out the three year stock slide in cash, and He called it to the day in March 2003, the liftoff of the market that lasted until October 2007. Bob did not foresee the dire implications of this current crisis, he seems to have called the end several times in his letter, and had subscribers buying all the way into September. Time will tell if this bear market closes out his favorable ratings. To be fair, this bear market has been unpredictable for many professional investors. Good luck to us all.
Well Mike from Oregon with Bob Brinker “calling the end of the .coms” and “the lift off of the market in March 03″ I guess, in your opinion he’s not doing too bad. Or as a song title by Meatloaf said “Two Out Of Three isn’t Bad.” And it’s not, unless you lost your ass on the one he missed, the third one.
Bob Brinker yet another self-promoting market guru. These guys are pronouncing doom and gloom or everything is rosy. Whatever it takes to sell them and remove money from your wallet. Just because a guy is on the radio does not mean he is going to make you money.
Bob Brinker’s main program is a radio financial program called Money Talk where listeners can call in on the 800# with questions or comments that will be aired on the show. Topics covered are generally stock market and investment portfolio centered Bob Brinker also has a monthly newsletter called Marketimer covering issues like the good and the bad times to be making moves in the stock market with your portfolio.
A one year subscription to the newsletter is going for $185.00 He does offer one back issue to be mailed to you for free.
You can also hear Marketimer over the internet for a monthly fee of around $5.00.
Bob Brinker also sells hats, t-shirts and coffee mugs, on his website, which are used to promote his show “Bob Brinker’s Marketimer”
Now if you have some of your own money that you don’t know what to do with give Bob Brinker a call. I’m sure he would be willing to offer you some advice and put it on his show. Whether the advice is worth anything is up to you to decide
If you want to invest, learn to do it on your own and study, study, study and then study some more. Then paper trade until you have proven to yourself that you can make money. Do not just arbitrarily throw your money into the market just because some guy has you thinking that they know what they are talking about.
You can learn from Bob Brinker but it is your money and only you care enough about it to make sure you do not lose any.
I would not recommend Bob Brinker’s recommendations unless you have paper traded and proven to yourself that his advice can make you money.
I do recommend him from a learning point of view, because when it comes to the markets, knowledge is power.
How Many Years Does a Background Check Go Back?
Posted by Sardino A Neistinah in Companies Saturday, 29 August 2009 09:54 No Comments
It can be a scary thought having a background check performed on you. Many people are concerned that things they did as crazy young people would show up on their record when they are not responsible adults trying to land a good job or marry the person of their dreams. Most people have nothing to worry about, things they did over ten years or even less sometimes will not show up on the typical background check.
Most of the time potential employers check their future employees records back five to seven years. If you are looking to get a federal job, they can go back much further. So that bad thing you did while in college probably will not show up on your record, especially if you are over thirty years old. If you committed a felony, you may have a problem however, they show up on your record much longer.
In some cases, such as if you were applying for a job with the IRS or any federal or state agency, many times background checks can go back as far as twelve years, or even more. It is in direct relation to how important or how classified the job is. So, if you are trying to get a job at a restaurant as a server, the time difference in how far the background checks go back are going to be considerably different than if you are applying for a job as a teacher with young children. Every position and every company has different feelings on what is considered acceptable and what is not. That is usually defined by the job at hand and what your direct responsibilities are going to be.
Whenever you think about the background check the first thought that crosses our minds is how many years back does the background check goes!! And the reason being, in your younger days, you werent that thoughtful and now is coming back to irk you. However, it is now common for every adult to be stressed about background check. Thanks to the new ways, most of us can be rest assured that the notorious things we must have done in our younger years wouldnt retaliate back.
The typical background check goes back five to seven years, sometimes more. It really depends on the kind of job you are applying for. It will be different if you are applying for a federal job and trying to get a job in a donut shop. They will, understandably, be looking for entirely different things.
But for instance if you are applying for a job either with the federal or state agency then here the background checks can even go further to ten to twelve years and may be more. This check is directly influenced by the importance and caliber of the job you are about to apply for. So, basically, the background checks completely depends upon the job you are about to apply. Like for instance, if you are applying for a teachers position, then the background check may be only for last five years whereas if you are applying for a server in the hotel, then it could be somewhere around two to five years. Every company and the every position require various rounds of background checks. What can be accepted also depends upon the category of the post you have applied for and what kind of responsibilities you are undertaking.
Why Affiliate Marketing? … The Real Truth
Posted by Dean Byler in MLM Friday, 28 August 2009 08:09 No Comments
One of the comments that I hear coming from successful marketers over and over is the dislike of one particular question. The question that they all get asked and are sick of answering is ?How can I make money fast??
It’s relatively obvious that everyone wants to know the answer to this question, but the answer is not so obvious. There are a million-and-one ways in internet marketing that can lead to success (or failure) and a simple answer to a simple question is not always the best way to map things out.
In order to make money fast or slow an Internet marketer will need a product to sell. That?s the first step in mapping out how to make money online, but that is only one point to consider because the expense of creating a product can become a real issue for many internet marketers starting out.
Most people go for trying to sell digital information products since they’re more accessible and generally easier to create. You will need to do some research first, of course, to make sure you can actually create the product and that there are people who are willing to buy it from you. If you like writing and you’re good at it, you can try to create the information product yourself. If not, you can either hire a writer or do a JV with someone who has those abilities and wants to work with you.
This is just for starters. Your journey to internet marketing success has a lot more steps ahead.
You?ll need to write sales page and because a sales page is one of the most important part of sales it should be very good. If you have copywriting abilities, you know how all time consuming writing a good converting salespage can be. If you do not have good copywriting skills, the cost of a expert copywriter might leave you pulling your hair out in disbelief.
It’s also important to create good visual elements for your website. The internet is extremely visual so your graphics and design layout are very important. You can attempt to do this yourself if you have good artistic abilities and the software, but it may be worth tracking down a graphic designer if you’re really serious about your site.
The various tasks of putting everything together can take up a lot of your time and money. In spite of what some website marketing sites are saying, there can be significant start up costs when you’re setting up everything.
The risk is that even if you have the time and money to create your own product and market it, you might end up spending more than you make. If the market doesn’t want it or if they can find something similar that is better or cheaper, you might be left holding the proverbial bag.
That initial expense of product creation is one of the reasons a great many marketers are attracted to affiliate marketing. No product creation costs are expected from a marketer just starting out online when they use affiliate marketing because the affiliate program owner/operator bears the costs associated with product creation and development. An affiliate program provides the Internet marketer with a commission for every sale he or she can produce and some of the commissions are very generous.
Affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to sell products and make money quickly without having a lot of start up costs. This is the map that most successful marketers follow to create financial independence.
What’s in a Creative Company Name?
Posted by Todd Alan in Companies Friday, 28 August 2009 04:36 No Comments
Shakespeare said A rose by any other name would smell as sweet. What matters is what something is, and not what it is called. So true, except that when it comes to business, competition and first impressions, it can make all the difference in the world.
A business must be named ingeniously keeping a balance between unique words and how the consumers can relate to it. The name has to be different, yet so attractive that people should be able to remember it. For getting such a name, one has to think like the crowd and needs a lot of common sense to know how the name can be different.
As the saying goes, the first impression is a lasting one. There are positive and negative perceptions and impressions. An impression is formed in the first three seconds of interaction. When the target audience chances upon the business name, it should register in their mind. A negative impression is not on the businessman’s mind. As unheard-off and unique the name sounds; it should prompt respect from the prospective client. Besides, it also needs to succeed in telling your probable customers what your business is about, best done subtly.
Everyone wants a positive business name, but you can have too much of a good thing. When the same words constantly appear in the names of similar businesses, the words lose its value. In the end, they just sound insipid and trite. These qualities somehow rub off on the business. After all, can you blame people when they assume that you are just like the others when your name is just too common? No! An example of which would be the words quality and professional. If you call your business Professional Designs or Quality Accounting Service, for instance, you are throwing away the opportunity to distinguish your name from the rest. People expect the best when they are seeking your services, so stating the obvious is simply moot and useless.
People must be able to identify the business and its uniqueness with its name, which will be the case only when common terms are avoided. You should take the efforts to make the name meaningful and original with a dab of creativity. A demanding, yet effective way of going about this is to do some research on the business you are about to start. One will come across many words, depending what kind of business it is. In such cases, hiring a professional to get the job done with finesse is a very sensible option. Professionals come across such challenges and deliver the performance that the layman may not.
