Multilevel Companies – Where Your Marketing Should Be Focused

Everyone who has found success in network marketing knows one thing that you probably don’t… you should only be targeting two groups of people: 1) People who are currently involved in multilevel companies, 2) People who are actively for information about multilevel companies.
Network marketers typically spent most of their time marketing to people who know nothing about multilevel companies. This is the focus for 95% of networkers. As a “coincidence” 95% of network marketers are failing in their business and spending more money on it than they are making. This seems like a pretty significant “coincidence”, doesn’t it? It’s very difficult to approach someone and convince them to see the potential power of MLM. These people have no interest in network marketing or having their own business. You should stop marketing to them.
Shouldn’t you be focusing your efforts on people who are already invested in the MLM mindset? These people have already indicated they were interested in their own business and they are willing to put money and time into setting it up. The already believe that network marketing is their key to financial freedom, their problem is they just don’t know how to succeed in it. This group of people: 1) Already believes in the MLM mindset, 2) Isn’t having any success and 3) They desperately want to succeed in the industry, they just don’t know how.
Current network marketers have already identified themselves not just as opportunity seekers, but as opportunity buyers. Success in MLM depends upon this idea. It doesn’t really matter that they may already have an MLM business because it’s failing. The idea of Attraction Marketing is important here but is beyond the scope of this article, but here is the short answer. Most network marketers are failing. If you can show them how to actually have success, you will be very, very attractive and influential with them.
Once you obtain a list of multilevel companies, it’s time to do some keyword research. Your list should show the focus of their product line to help your research. When you combine keyword research with the list of over 900 multilevel companies, your keyword list is nearly endless.
Keyword research is another important piece of the puzzle. Regardless of the type of marketing you’re focused on (article, content, video, PPC, blogging, etc) choosing the right keywords are the key to success. Use your list and look up each multilevel company and find the following: 1) Keywords associated with of the multilevel companies, 2) Longer-tailed keywords, 3) Company leaders and their products, books, etc. All of these words are potential keywords for your marketing campaigns.
You can also use your list of MLM companies to identify your direct competition. Look for multilevel companies who are in the same niche as yours and focus on them. Almost all of these ads are for products that are in direct competition to the product you searched for.
So… stop trying to “sell steak to vegetarians”! Get a list of multilevel companies and start focusing your MLM marketing on people who are interested – other network marketers.
