It was started by Colonel Sanders. But before that he was retired and broke and his only restaurant on a highway was going to close as there was an another highway being built nearby. He had his mother’s chicken recipe which he started to market to hoteliers, restauranters in return for some percentage of share in profits and he had to go through 1009 nos before someone finally said yes. It took him a full 2 years of struggle to finally start his own venture and rest was history afterwards.
3) Sylvestor Stallone Story – Sylvestor Stallone one of the most successful hollywood action hereos today too had a story of struggle to tell. He wrote a story and started visiting the top producers and directors in hollywood to sell the copyrights of his story with a condition that he would star in the movie made out of his story. And he too had to go through 1001 nos before finally someone said yes and Rocky turned out to be a blockbuster.
We as network marketers also have to go through a lot of struggle in the initial phase of our journey. We have to hear a lot of nos before someone comes up and finally says yes. Instead of quitting which is the most easiest of things to do. We can also change our inputs to get the desired feedbacks or results. For example if we are not able to get someone join our primary business opportunity and that is because we may not be creating attraction in the form of leadership or we are not marketing our business to the exact target market or our communication skills may need improvement.
