In order to make a friend.. you first have to ask questions to learn about the person on the other end of the line.

Questions like….

“Where are you from”

“How long have you lived there?”

“What do you do for a living?”

“Are you married? Have any children?”

Your first goal in asking questions is to learn about the person.

The 2nd goal is to relate.

What do I mean by “relate”? I mean… inject a little of your personal story or personality into the conversation. When someone says “I have 4 kids” you can say “Oh wow.. I have 3 kids.” (only if you really have them of course).

If you don’t have kids.. you can say something about kids like.. Oh.. I have 3 nieces and I sure enjoy spending time with them. Whatever it is… you want to relate to show the other person that you are LIKE them (in other words – YOU ARE A NORMAL HUMAN BEING).

When you’re relating you’ll want to keep it short and then go back to the person with another question… Again… the conversation is all about THEM! Ask a question… relate a little and then ask another question.

Through this entire process be LISTENING! You’ve heard it before and I’ll write it here so you can read it again…”God gave us 2 ears and 1 mouth..why?” So we could LISTEN more than we TALK!

Good MLM Prospecting is about just that… Listening more than you talk. If you really get good at asking questions, listening and asking more questions your prospect (or friend) will tell you exactly where there pain is.

This is where you are now in KEY position to share with them something that you believe will be a solution to their problem.

If you have their best interest at heart, they will feel that & begin to know like and trust you.

How will they know and like you? Because you asked questions (got to know them), related (let them know you a little) and tried to help them solve their challenges by really LISTENING for a need & suggesting a solution.

I’m here to give you a review of a new company called Monitium that has just come on the market here within the last couple weeks.

This company is attempting to address some of the concerns that exists within the network marketing industry.

Right now it’s the PERFECT timing to be involved in a home-based business.
The challenge is there are a lot of problems that really plague our industry.

For example…

*high out-ships
*low retention rates
*start-up companies going out of business left and right

The bottom line is that there are a lot of issues out there so you have to be careful about the company you decide to parter up with.

Monitium has come on the market in an attempt to solve the one of the biggest problems that sometimes, network marketers face and that is building up a team only to end up losing income due to high attrition rates and companies going out of business.

The basic idea here is that Monitium is saying “Okay guys…we’re going to be the company that you need to bring all of your teams to (on the front end) and then we are going to offer a plethora of different MLM companies (on the back end) that your downlines can join up with.

It’s definitely an interesting concept & not one that hasn’t been thought of before.

The first point is this. Monitium is a startup company! Yes.. they will be selecting companies on the back end that hopefully are stable & solid but this company in and of itself is a startup.

Start-up companies are notorious for not ever making it beyond their first couple years and it’s for this reason that I would be very very careful before I threw all my eggs in that basket.

The second point is this… One of the biggest reasons people fail to generate income from home is the fact that they have a hard time with focus.

Monitium attempts to hone the focus in on them for the front end but then they are going to scatter that focus on the back end with a myriad of different MLM companies to select from.

I for one… I’m really uneasy about spreading my down line into multiple different MLM companies. I think it could potentially be a focus KILLER!

You know, this company could be a great opportunity, I’m not saying that it’s not. These are just some thoughts that have gone through my mind as I’ve looked at this from a neutral standpoint.

There IS some hype out there as well. Some are saying “HEY THIS IS THE NEXT BIG THING” and “DON’T MISS THE BOAT… So and so is MAKING SOOO MUCH MONEY WITH THIS.”

Don’t by into the hype whatever you do. Sit back, relax… do your due diligence, investigate the people involved with the company and make an informed decision.

My friend, whether you choose to go with Monitium or some another more established network marketing company you need to know that there are fortunes to be made in this industry.

Are you going to be someone that makes a fortune in MLM? It all boils down to 2 things.

But WAIT…. not so fast my fine feathered financial freedom seeking friend. Did they tell you that in order to redeem your certificate you have to pay for the shipping on the groceries?

Last time I checked it was going to run me about $80 to get my groceries to Idaho where I live.

Let’s say I told my neighbor Leo that I could get him a couple hundred dollars worth of goods for only around $300 what would he say?

Odds are… Leo is going to tell me to go find someone else to scam.

In my opinion nobody I know will be excited about being a customer with this company. MPB reps will tell you that no one would join just to be a customer… “this is a business opportunity they say”.

We can’t forget about the people that will fail to cycle and make money.

They get left holding the bag.

The bag of overpriced grocery items that is.

For a business to have a solid foundation…there needs to be a legitimate customer base. You have to be able to deliver value in exchange for the money you receive.

I mean.. c’mon… Ponzi schemes are great for the guy running them but what about the people that invested?

They lose!

When business and network marketing is done correctly everyone wins because everyone receives full value for the money they put in.

1 final reason I have not jumped into MPB.

#2) I don’t want to be stuck recruiting for EVER!

MPB has a 1 time buy in. That’s great and it appeals to a lot of people. In fact, that’s one of the points that proponents of these 2 X 2 follow me matrix plans tout from the pulpit.

How do I know?

I’ve worked this compensation plan before. I made money.. it was cool but then something happened…

The minute my team and I stopped recruiting our paychecks vanished.

Compare that to a network marketing organization that I built last year. I haven’t touched that business for 9 months and guess what?

My family still gets a nice sized check every month.

If you never want you or your people to retire… you may consider a a compensation plan like this.
