Jonathan Budd Thinks Google Advertising Is Dead

“Google is DEAD”, says Jonathan Budd, a top leader in Online Marketing.
Well, you and I both know that Google isn’t dead and it’s never going any where. So what does he mean by this statement?
A brief walk through history about Google an how Network Marketing have combined will lead up to a better explanation of his statement so let’s begin…
Because Google is the #1 search engine, many business owners (and MLM’ers) use the internet for publishing information about their company and themselves. Working very hard to rank high with Google on the first page or two with their content. This is key for success in todays times.
Network Marketing and MLM distributers also use PPC (Pay Per Click) Ads, blogs, and article submissions are different tactics business owner use to get their information out. Thousands of dollars spent in paid advertising by many Network Marketers trying to get results and get more leads for their business.
Saying all that… So why is Jonathan Budd telling everyone that “Google is Dead”? He also goes as far to say that, “Unfortunately for many their businesses died with it”!
Question is… IS HE RIGHT?!?!
Jonathan Budd has a great track record of predicting trends in the market place of advertising. He also has the bank account to prove it. He is one of the youngest and highest multi-million dollar earners in the Network Marketing MLM industry.
You see, he claims himself and many other online marketing MLM’ers are not generating leads and building their business as effective as they were in the past. And much of this, according to him, is from the falling and loss of power or effectiveness from their time and money spent advertising and lead generating on Google. Google is becoming almost second in the industry as the most visited website on the internet to the very popular and fastest growing website on the internet today called Facebook!
Because of this information and ideas Jonathan Budd has come up with, he feels that Facebook is where the best bang for your bucks, time best spent are and where he feels the trends is heading for the entire industry of Network Marketing to bring their business back to life. He is calling this new trend curve in advertising for MLM and list building and using Facebook as your #1 site for generating leads…”Get Traffic 3.0″
I have begun to see a blast from Jonathan and his group about this subject. Many people also have a ton of questions about this as well, so I put this information out to get you more information. Although I’m not much of a fan, one thing’s for sure, he has a huge amount of knowledge for so many people to learn from. My hope is that you become more informed.
With all that being said, “Is he right this time as well?

Are Facebook Ads Really Working?

Do you think Facebook is raking in the cash on those ads on the right side of their website? Well, the odds are they are, but maybe not quite as much as people over at Google’s AdSense program.
There is a natural reason for the dichotomy. It’s not arguable that a lot of people would have an opportunity to see an ad on Facebook. More than 108 million people are now using the site every month, up from nearly 103 million people before all this happened on the way.
Does that make Facebook ads any less of an investment? Facebook Social Ads work virally and are a great way to reach your audience and future clients but rather than being spread in a random fashion, they are strategically placed.
Facebook quite often gets a really bad rap from the people who are pros in the marketing game. But why? As you tinker around and try to match your products perfect demographic target you will see that Facebook will give you an actual number on approximately how many people your targeting will reach.
It comes down to return on investment, or ROI. You can not edit your ads but what you can do is below the ads you will see create a similar ad in which you can start from an old ads contents.
The case in point is this: If you spend $50 on ads and notice a $100 bump in profit, you could say it was a successful ad campaign. It will be very powerful tool for the end user but maybe even more powerful for the Facebook ads program here.
A few simple tricks can turn your campaign into an even more effective one. Facebook considers itself to be a platform where you can generate interest in your brand – demand generation.
To really track the results though, you will have to run a few ad campaigns and study their effectiveness over the course of time.

If you answered positive, congratulations and hope for your speedy recovery. If you answered no, that’s all right because the first stage to most addictions is refutation. The good news is, there are ways to discover if you have this disease. Here are top 10 signs that you are addicted to facebook.
1. Facebook is the first site that you check in the morning. (Remark: There’s a option that your addiction is severe if you use a mobile phone that has internet access and you literally check out the website within five minutes of waking up. If that’s the case, seek medical attention instantly.)
2. You have more than 400 contacts, where at least half of them are people that you don’t actually talk to on a regular basis.
3. Mafia Wars? FarmVille? FishVille? You are quite an expert when it comes to social media games, and the apps are the only interaction you have with some of your friends (e.g. Your wall messages to friends contain something similar to, “Tom found a lonely Black Sheep on their farm. Oh no!”)
4. You care for Facebook so much that you bring it with you even while in the bathroom and doing a number two.
5. You have abandoned the whole “printing photos and creating real albums” completely, because all your pictures are now uploaded on Facebook.
6. At some aspect in your online life, you have updated your status about what you’ve cooked for dinner, shows you’ve watched on TV, and places you’ve been to a short time ago.
7. You have shared a site regarding a news article or a YouTube video that either you really enjoyed or you just wanted people to know about it because it will increase your chances of scoring cool points and getting a friendship bracelet from your super cool contacts.
8. You downloaded FourSquare to check-in at cool places in the town, so your friends will think you’re not just cool but also super smart and super tech-savvy.
9. You have made a statement on someone else’s wall. Or if you don’t know the person that well, you’ve just “liked” his or her status, which is a Facebook comparable of a real world “hi.”
10. At last, you have made your relationship status Facebook-official by changing from “Single” to “In a Relationship” or vice versa. However, you have also updated your status to “It’s Complicated” since you think it is way cooler than all the other statuses.
As in most addictions, Facebook’s come in various severity. If you have at least 4 symptoms, then your addiction is light. 5-7 symptoms, your case is moderate, but if you have 8 or more, you criticallysly need to make a call to Dr. Online for help as your addiction is severe. Remember, your family loves you whether they are on Facebook or not.

A home based business can effectively use the same social media tools that large companies are using to promote their services or products. Using sites like Twitter can be the cure for the feelings of isolation that sometimes accompany working from home. Business owners can build networks, communities and even friendships by using social media.
Facebook users share pictures, thoughts, and favorite books and foods with friends. But Facebook users can also share your photos and business information with their network of friends. Each friend has their own network and so its possible for your message to be shared among many more people that you could normally reach.
Home based businesses can make their brand really well known using social networking tools. Consumers often like to talk about their favorite services and products and to feel like they are being treated as a special customer. Using Twitter or blog postings to share new product information, coupons, and special events gives your customers more connection to your business. The people in their network of friends and followers will also have access to your information.
Social networking can also help home based businesses owners overcome the difficulty of creating connections with peers and team members. Social networking tools give people many platforms to share their work, their interests, and their day to day lives. Using one of these tools can take the place of attending a meeting or as fun as talking about your weekend with your co-workers.
Professional referrals and relationships have to be created and maintained for a small business to thrive. LinkedIn, an example of a work or business related social media tool, is a web space where networks of professionals can provide work histories and resumes, recent projects, business information and statistics. A business referral can be created by just sharing a link. Prospects, sales associates, professional association members and team members can be invited to join your professional network.
As small or home based businesses begin to share information and opportunities using social media, customers and peers have more opportunities to understand your brand. The business brand can be built not just by using the product or service but by building a predictable web and social media presence.
The business brand can be built by sharing insider information like online pictures or videos of the people that build or sell the product. Some brands appeal to customers by offer exclusive offers shared in tweets. Other brands are built by customer comments and online dialogues about product features. Your customers will not have to wonder about your product and business stand for, you can keep them informed about that.
Small businesses can promote themselves just as effectively as large businesses using the same social media tools. Your customers, friends, business associates and partners can find you, understand your brand, and share their ideas with you. By doing something simple, like opening a Twitter account, you can begin to use the networks around you share your business with anyone with a computer.

Faceworld the local phenomena that started out as a small three school only platform that Mr Gary Smith set up so he could look at frat girls in there pj’s is now a local and worldwide success with in excess of 600 that’s six hundred million users and unbelievably its still growing albeit at the speed of light, which of course makes it a great marketing tool for both national brands such as Pepsi cola and small businesses such as a Facebook app developer in Leeds.
As Facebook is now a mature platform and the clear market leader taking over such other social networking platforms such as Myspace and Bebo and to date is the only social network to open up its platform for application development, which has allowed it to not only increase revenue share by serving adverts on millions upon millions of extra pages created by Facebook application developers but also attracted millions of new users who want to use the applications.
Facebook application development leedscan be however a tricky thing to get right, although the platform itself is quite old, the Facebook mark up language or fmbl code is not all that old and also requires a good programmer to go on a learning curve in order to be able to use the code with ease and create some fancy applications.
When an application is created it must adhere to all the Facebook rules and regulations, which for a Facebook application developer means that they must be in constant contact with Facebook ensuring that they are up to speed with the latest changes to parameters on what you can and can’t achieve within an application.
The most common reason a company would want to create an Facebook application is to achieve one or all of the following goals, number one is to promote goods or service, number 2 is brand awareness, number 3 is spam and number 4 is to make big bucks.
Facebook are aware that many applications are created with the sole purpose of spamming users either by posting direct to news feeds, walls, external applications, email and as such have changed the rules on what can and can’t be done without first gaining a users permission or paying them lots of money.
One of the main rules about being a Facebook application developeris that when you build the application you must be aware that a custom landing tab will only be shown to users as the fan page homepage if the fan page has either over 10,000 yes ten thousand members or if the client wishing to spend lots of money on Facebook adverts, payments for which must be made in used bank notes.
When building a Facebook application or custom tab a developer must also be aware that they must ask a users permission this is called extended permissions if they want to auto post or output to a users wall or news feed.
