This article will review Pyxism, Inc., a Multi Level Marketing Company that works with discount travel. Pyxism, Inc. was founded in 2009 by Lloyd Wilson of San Clemente, California. It is a US based company and a licensed seller of Travel Products. The company officially launched in January, 2010 to much acclaim and praise (citizencorps.com/pyxism/) throughout the Network Marketing industry.

In my recent article, “MLM-Choosing A Company”, I discussed important features to look at when choosing an MLM company. Let’s take a look at each of those criteria with regard to Pyxism.

Pro-Administration: The CEO of Pyxism is Lloyd Wilson, he has been in business for the past 35 years. His experience includes Banking, Tele-communications, Network Marketing and others. Wilson’s reputation is excellent and he appears to be a more than competent leader.

Pro-Integrity: Pyxism is young company, so they don’t have an extensive track record. But, thus far their transparency and open lines of communication have been excellent. Management has been very open and clear about each move the company makes. Members of the company are able to have questions and concerns addressed in a timely fashion. The company has more than honored its compensation plan and associates are being paid promptly.

Pro-Travel Products: The company offers a variety of Travel products. The most deeply discounted are travel packages. Pyxism also has a travel desk where you can speak to a person and book travel to virtually anywhere in the world. The prices are similar to Orbitz, Travelocity, or Expedia but Pyxism members receive 50% of the agents commission from the booking. A nice plus for Pyxism members. The Pyxism travel product would be a good deal regardless of the MLM component. The product gets two thumbs up!

Con-Products: Presently, Pyxism offers most of their travel packages in the US and Caribbean with some in Europe and Australia, and a few in Asia. This is a bit of a draw back but I will say the number of destination is increasing rapidly and I think that soon there will be a sufficient selection to satisfy most people.

Pro-Compensation: The structure of the Pyxism compensation plan is a 2×2 matrix. This is considered quite unique in the industry. It allow associates to move through very quickly, generating income each time. Six people is all it requires to fill the matrix. With four means to fill the matrix the burden is not all on one person. Members may also create income form three generations below in their downline. This structure favors the members when compared to plans that go five or more levels deep. The actual payouts are good as well. The full plan can be seen on the Pyxism.com/voyager website.

Con-A Young Company: Pyxism has been in existence for less than a year and this should be of some concern. However, companies that have been around for a long time are not necessarily secure, just look a Lehman Brothers or the many banks that have gone under in the past two years. There is some risk with any business or company. In view of the experienced leadership and current financial stability of Pyxism, I feel quite comfortable with this company.

Pro-Start Up Cost: Pyxism is very affordable and flexible for beginning associates. The cost to enter the business can be as low as $50 or up to $849 to get a jump start on the business. Most people enter the business at $349. Regardless of which one you choose, your earning potential is the same. How many businesses can you start for $50?

Pro-Support From Company: Pyxism provides good support for its associates. You receive a personalized website with the initial entry into the company. There are other marketing and training tools also, such as webinars both live and recorded banner adds, etc. My up-line and I also have additional support and training for our team. I provide a complete training program that can be used with any Internet Marketing program.

Support From Up-Line: I am associated with an up-line that has extensive experience in Network Marketing, Travel, and Marketing in general. They provide additional tools for their team members to assist with marketing such as email templates, banner adds, training webinars and more. I can not speak for other up-lines but I believe mine is genuinely interested in the success of its team.

Pro-Present Trends: There are a number of present trends that Pyxism has linked to. Internet Marketing continues to expand dramatically. Using the Internet gives you a potential customer base of one billion people. Currently travel is an 8 trillion dollar per year business, and even over the last two years it continued to expand. Fifty three percent of business on the Internet is related to travel. Baby Boomers, as of 2010 are retiring at the rate of one every 18 seconds and will continue to do so for the next eighteen years. A large percentage will need supplemental income and many will wish to travel as part of their retirement. These trend all favor Pyxism.

Your Preference: It is important that you choose a business that you believe in, and one that fits your personality. I chose Pyxism because I believe they are an honest and ethical company, there was no need for me to handle any physical products, I enjoy travel, and I believe I can be generating a six figure income within two years. Hopefully that will happen sooner.

Initially I looked at many home based businesses and Network Marketing companies and after considerable thought and debate, I chose Pyxism. I continue to feel they are the best company for me. I believe Pyxism is an excellent choice for people who enjoy travel and are seeking financial freedom.
