Ways Being Kind Can Alter You and Others
Posted by Jenn Lawlor in MLM Friday, 30 October 2009 11:32 No Comments
Being kind — that is being generous, compassionate, sympathetic and tenderhearted — can be beneficial in many ways. From improving your physical health to your emotional well-being with personal connections, kindness can make your days and those of others a whole lot better. When you do something for someone else and don’t expect anything for it, you sense your joy inside.
If you have not heard of Michael J. Chase you are in for a real treat. He admits that his life and his personal world were less than kind, in fact they were hard and harsh. After some difficult times, trials, and real soul searching, Mr. Chase literally stumbled on something one day that did change his life. Later it was also possible for him to teach this to others. He wrote a book that helps the reader to discover his own philosophy about being kind and showing kindness.
The book, called “Am I Being Kind,” guides readers and has them question their actions. Readers will learn more about themselves than they ever dreamed. They will discover that the concept of being kind involves far more than simply committing nice actions and being polite to other people. However, these acts do play a role in the overall concept of kindness. For instance, readers will find much joy in performing small acts of kindness for others, from paying for a stranger’s meal to holding a door open for the person walking in behind them.
It’s so easy to be kind if you just think about it as you go about your day. It won’t take anything from your wallet, but it certainly pays in at least a moment or tow of happiness for everyone involved. When you do something kind, hopefully it encourages that person to do the same; and it continues from one person to the next and the next and the next. The result? A better outlook, a renewed sense of the good in others, a desire to be kind and experience the positive feelings for you and others. Don’t just read about it here though, try it for yourself and see how your attitude and mood changes; it’s hard to be negative or depressed after a simple act of kindness.
So if you’re having a bad day (or week or even an unfortunate month), make things better today for yourself and someone else by being kind to them. Whether it’s a friend or a complete stranger, you’ll soon discover the life-changing effects kindness can have. With a little luck, everyone else will catch the same feeling and create it for themselves and others by the same simple acts. It’s then that everybody benefits with improved outlooks and that special feeling of satisfaction inside for having improved another’s day (and possibly life).

Finding A LifePath Unlimited Team and Mentor
Posted by Justine Simard in MLM Tuesday, 27 October 2009 10:08 No Comments
Are you researching LifePath Unlimited, or perhaps another home business or network marketing opportunity, and getting closer to making the big decision of starting your own business? Before you do, there are a few things you should consider when joining a team or mentor to make sure that you receive all the training and support you need to build your business successfully.
In the LifePath Unlimited business, many teams offer a customised training for their team members. So while you will be joining the same company as your fellow associates, the training and guidance you receive may differ.
You can ask the following questions to your future mentor, to get some insight into the structure of their team, to know what to expect, and to see whether their approach fits your needs:
1. About the training:
How is the training structured; what does it involve; how is the training delivered; how long is the initial training for; what type of ongoing training is provided?
2. About availability:
What hours are you usually available (then you will know when you can contact them); are there other people available to help if you are not available; how many people are you coaching at present?
3. About philosophy:
What is your approach to the business (e.g. thorough, casual, collaborative, etc); what is the most important aspect of the business according to you; how involved are you with the larger community in this company; what do you like and dislike about this business?
4. About the team:
How do team members connect with each other (e.g. is there a shared site for networking); what is the team support like; what resources are shared between team members; will people who join my team have access to the same resources I have access to?
5. About marketing resources:
What marketing resources do you provide; what type of marketing do you focus on; do you help with finding leads while I am going through the training so that I can start making money right away (e.g. through a marketing cooperative); do you provide website templates and/or hosting?
Another important question you may be asking yourself is this: “Should I find a senior mentor and one who has been in the business for a long time?” The answer is ‘not necessarily”! In fact, as you can see through the questions in this article, there are things far more important than status in choosing a mentor! Leadership, diligence, resourcefulness, availability and the right approach are the criteria you should use. Also, the right mentor will come with a supportive and resourceful team, with members contributing with various skills and experience, and which will help you in creating your own success!
Lastly, remember that starting your own network marketing business will place you in a mentor position as well, so while you will be able to rely on your team support, think about how you will answer the questions in this article as a mentor!

Is Your Marketing Message One In A Million?

Everyone wants to know how to get ahead professionally. Of course, the best way to get ahead is to seek out mentors with wisdom about the profession. Smart marketing professionals know that the mentor to turn to is the late Eugene Schwartz. Lots of people will try to sell inferior advice, but Eugene Schwartz is the go-to source for people who are in-the-know. Eugene Schwartz’s amazing program “”5 Levels of Sophistication for your Market”" will surpass any other program available and give you everything you need to get started.
Depending on the stage of sophistication of the current market, determines how ones product will most successfully be marketed. This level of sophistication is determined by three important factors. Firstly, it depends on how many competitors there are in the market. Secondly, what claims or promises have the competitors made about their products or services. Lastly, it also depends on how long prospects and potential buyers have been hearing about the product or service.
Measuring fundamental marketing information can be explained better by using an example created by Eugene Schwartz. This technique will form the basis of understanding for online marketing efforts. Imagine a weight loss supplement introduced in the early days of the weight loss marketing revolution. Back then, a straightforward claim such as “This Pill Will Make You Lose Weight” would bring about a positive result and create sales. As the market matured, people began to see similar claims in different weight loss supplements. Now that the market has attained higher levels of sophistication, the original claims cannot be depended upon to bring the same results. These days the claims need to be more daring and bolder, like “Lose Weight In Just Seven Days With This Pill!”.
Eventually bigger and bolder isnt good enough and marketers reach a new level of sophistication where they must implement unique mechanisms to keep the product selling. They would be required to tweak the claim to read, Take this Pill, that Blocks Fat Absorption in the Intestines, and Loose Weight in Seven Days. Even the unique mechanism fails as the market moves into the final level of sophistication. This is the most important lesson when it comes to online marketing training.
As online business grows and becomes more prevalent, your marketing strategy becomes a deciding factor. A business process starts with marketing and culminates in sales. For your online marketing to be prominent, you will need to be more familiar with the industry and become adept in your field of expertise. The lessons of Eugene Schwartz are a great beginning. Looking for the market leaders in your field is your next step; you need to become acquainted with their activities and learn their techniques. But what is most important is your own motivation: no retreat, no surrender.

Draw In Potential Customers Using Online Video Marketing
Posted by Zach LaPerriere in MLM Thursday, 8 October 2009 14:42 No Comments
It is all too common to come across an interesting website that bombards you with a bunch of information all at once. Sometimes it is too much information, and focusing on it can be difficult. This simple fact is why online video marketing can be so valuable. By providing a video that is short and to the point, there is a greater chance that a person’s attention will be obtained and kept for a reasonable amount of time. In fact, people seem to be a little more willing to invest time and effort into watching a video, and they might actually be able to comprehend what is being said.
If you are looking into trying online video marketing, you can either choose to do it yourself or to hire a company who specializes in making these videos. It may be less expensive for you to do it on your own, but you also may fall into the trap of an amateur video. If your sound, your lighting, or your presentation is lackluster, you might as well just put everything in print because you won’t be able to engage the viewer. This is why using a professional can really work to your advantage.
You might also consider hiring a professional actor for your video. However, you need to be careful in your choice because the wrong sort of personality can sink the effectiveness of your marketing video. One thing is sure: a competent actor or actress is going to come across much more relaxed and natural on-screen than you will. And as long as you are going to the expense of using professional performers, you might as well engage a professional videography company to assist you in producing the video. You will not be sorry, as the resulting product will be of a quality that you can rightly be proud of. Another option, if you are confident of your on-camera presence, is to eschew the professional actor/actress, and get the professional video service to help film your performance for the marketing video.
Don’t make the same mistakes that other companies have made; utilize video marketing techniques to raise the visibility of your website. Forget the floods of text with flashy fonts and graphics when you are trying to capture online users’ interest. You had better believe that the online population has some of the shortest attention spans around, and you need to, with lightning speed, get them into your site and pique their interest in your merchandise or service.
Try something different, you will be glad that you did when you see the results that using video on your website as a marketing tool garners you. The business you are in does not really matter. What does matter is that that your video is professional and your message brings traffic to your website.
How To Show Customers You Know Your Lifepath Unlimited Products.
Posted by Christy Snape in MLM Wednesday, 30 September 2009 15:56 No Comments
A sense of trust can be developed with potential Lifepath Unlimited customers if you know your products. A trust factors means that potential customers will rely of your recommendations and appreciate your knowledge. Therefore is it essential to the success of your Lifepath Unlimited business that you show your customers you know your stuff. However it is not necessary to know EVERYTHING about your product for people to think you do. So you can stay a step ahead of your customers here are some simple tips to build authority.
Firstly you need to know your audience. Knowing who they are, what their interests, likes and dislikes are will help you have the knowledge they want. You can get this information from previous and continued customers, and I guarantee you will see some sort of trend (male, females, single parents ect). Then you need to write for this audience only. There is no point writing for a broad audience when the people with the same interests are looking up your Lifepath Unlimited produces. I like to use the horoscopes as an example. Horoscopes are written for a particular audience. For example if you were to read horoscopes in a mens magazine- do you think they talk about feminine subjects, and vise versa for womens magazines- no they dont because they are writing to an audience to show they have knowledge on what YOU want to know not what everyone wants to know. This is what you need to achieve.
The next thing you need to do is find your place in the spectrum. This means that you need to determine how much information there is out there about your product and how in depth it is. This will help you determine how much your potential Lifepath Unlimited customers know and what you should be telling them. So if you find that there is hardly any information out there you can presume that majority of your customers have little to no knowledge of the product. This means that you dont want to talk to these people as an expert because it can be overwhelming but talk to them so they can understand and at the same time know that you know stuff about your product. How I see it is you always need to be just one step in front of your audience, anymore than that and you will loose their interest.
Another thing you need to do is choose a subject and determine where you stand with it. What I mean here is that you can not sit on the fence when people ask questions like what better x, y or z. Therefore you need to be prepared and predetermine where you sit and why. I suggest sitting with the majority- more people will trust you this way. When you do this it is important not to put the other Lifepath Unlimited products down because you want to sell these too.
It is important to not forget about the minority. I am going to half contradict myself now and say dont forget about the minority. Find a way to also include the minority in your stance. The above example is a good way to do this. Therefore determine what type of people like the minority product and sell it this way. An example of how you can do this is; Product x doesnt suit everyone because but will suit stay at home mums because
Also back up what you are saying. Never say something simply from emotion, try to use solid evidence. To do this you need to do your research and find at least 3 articles that support each stance you have. This will show your audience that you have in fact investigated the subject and have come to this conclusion by an educational not emotional influence. People love evidence as it shows you know what you are talking about.
And most of all always be honest. The worst mistake you can make is faking it. Dont make up things you dont know in hope to get authority because it wont work and you will get crushed by someone who does know who they are talking about. There is no coming back from being a liar in the marketing business therefore be honest with your Lifepath Unlimited customers. Tell them you dont know but will find out or point them in the right direction to find the information themselves. It will create value and trust for your Lifepath Unlimited business.
You can be an authority figure of Lifepath Unlimited. Just follow these simple ideas and you will see business flow your way as more and more people begin to trust you. And soon enough you will, without even trying, be a total expert.
