Third Party Lab Discloses Juice Hype

We had a nutrition company hire a third party lab to test the so called antioxidant rich juices on the market. The results are astounding.
It seems like there are hundreds of companies trying to market the latest magic juice. These juices, many of which are sourced from obscure locations in the Pacific, Asia, or the Amazon often come with alluring tales of miracle cures and healing properties. With few exceptions, these juices claim to be the most powerful antioxidants available. Some claim to have antioxidant super power. So we decided to put these so-called magic juices to the test. We asked Brunswick Labs, a well known independent laboratory, to conduct scientific tests on the magic juices.
We even added Welches Grape juice to the test. Before we get down to business lets first look into some of the crazy claims these popular juices make:
MonaVie claims that the acai berry used in their juice is one of the best super berries on the planet. What you will find is eating the actual berry in Brazil versus drinking a bottle of their juice is a totally different story.
Kyani who claims to use berries from Alaska refers to their juice as super powerful. Another company, Xango claims their mangosteen is a super duper antioxidant. Freelife says if you drink their GoChi juice then you can be sure of protecting yourself.
The FRAP examination showed that grape juice had more antioxidants per serving than all but two of the magic juices.
Here are the results from the ORAC and FRAP tests: The first score is the ORAC score followed by the FRAP. Welchs Grape Juice scored 2734 and 245, while Mona Vie came in at 2220 and 1572. Pharmanexs G3 product reported 1658 and 2648 and Xango scored one of the lowest at 947 and 761. FreeLifes Gochi 888 and 641 with Kyani Sunrise scored a 769 in ORAC and a 1271. Exfuze, says they use extracts from noni, goji, mangosteen, acai and many others, had one of the lowest scores at 400 and 174.
Why is this so significant? These magic juices are not a very good antioxidant value for your dollar spent. A daily average serving of MonaVie Acai juice, for example, costs about $4.60 regular price, while an eight-ounce serving of WelchsGrape Juice costs about $.50. And, according to the ORAC and FRAP tests, grape juice provides more antioxidants to protect against free radicals than MonaVie Acai Juice.
A real business opportunity is really only as good as the product and the value that the product gives consumers. Are these exotic juices really a good source to get antioxidants?
The best source to get the potent nutrients is eating them fresh from the source. Now obviously if you do not live in these areas then it is virtually impossible to do so. Yoli, a new company with a new technology has solved the problem once and for all. They have blast cap technology which has the nutrients sealed until they are ready for use. The best part is you can place them on top of a bottle of water or juice and blast them in when you are ready to drink.
These blast caps cost significantly less too. They have way more active ingredients too. Any company who has nutrients sitting in water must preserve them somehow and is often toxic when they do. The bottom line is nutrients do not survive after being boiled or sit in water for a long period of time.
Acai Berry, The Super Food Truth

One of the most recognized so called super foods is the acai berry. This berry has had tremendous claims and health benefits. Are all of them real and true?
The acai berry has potent antioxidants and can be found throughout the rain forest of Brazil. There are tons of products out there all using or claiming to use acai berry. Can any of these Companies truly prove what they actually have in it? Weve tested various acai products on the market with 3rd party labs none of them live up to the hype. In fact some of them the grape juice they use has more antioxidants then the acai berry. Why is that? The nutrients are dead from being pasteurized and preserved with chemicals.
Acai, claims to help with weight loss and other health related claims. One company has faked their before and after results by altering images purchased from a well known photo source website. However, proper fresh acai may actually help in weight loss.
Do you have low energy? The acai berry will help you detoxify, which should also help you rest better. It is a natural food that is known to boost energy and maintain it.
Sodium benzoate is a preservative that is used in many juice type products. It is used to hold things in tact; however it is also known to cause cancer. If you see any type of product using this as a preservative stay away from it. In fact if a company has to use any type of preservative stay away from it period.
What happens to nutrients when they have been pasteurized? You probably guessed it, the heat kills the nutrients. Not to mention, when any nutrients sit in water or liquid they will parish in a short amount of time. How can you deliver these powerful ingredients to the public then on a massive scale?
Have you heard to of this new blast cap technology, invented by Mikel Anderson? Nutrients can be sealed in these blast caps, not only taking up less room then a bottle of juice, but they also can be shipped extremely cheap.
