Search Engine Optimization is something which is a concern for every webmaster. A lot of webmasters spend a great deal of time and put a lot of effort into obsessively fine tuning their websites, adding new content optimized for their primary keywords, building back links and other tasks, all in the interest of securing a higher page ranking for their website. With more than 90% of internet users making regular use of search engines to find websites with the content they want, it’s certainly worth putting some time into, but does SEO warrant the kind of investment of time and effort that webmasters put into it? For that matter, should SEO come before creating sites which are appealing to readers?

Popular SEO network experts in the network marketing industry, Ferny Ceballos and Raymond Fong, invest much time teaching and preaching proper SEO ventures. Any time you compose a website, you should also seek to attract an audience of human readers. Ferny and Raymond are lead instructors of SEONetworker Mastermind Group. They know a lot about this concept and they are worth listening to.

The search engines aren’t going to read your site for entertainment or enlightenment – and unless you’ve somehow found a product which the search engine robots want to buy from you, your customers are also human visitors.

It is critical to procure as much traffic to a site as possible since no traffic will undermine your website. It does not matter how great the site looks or how many cool features it possesses if it isn’t optimized. Optimizing a site for search engines can aid in bringing more traffic to it, but designing the site solely with the search engines in mind is not going to help build any audience or client base. Visitors will explore it once and immediately leave and never return. Those that want a website to succeed need to make it a site that visitors will want to repeatedly visit.

One thing webmasters sometimes do when they lose sight of their real audience is to cram their meta tags with keywords. This does nothing for your visitors and can actually result in your site being penalized or even dropped from the search engine indices altogether.

On the SEO networker training Ferny Ceballos and Raymond Fong explaining that Your site should be designed with your visitors in mind, not search engines. Content which is stuffed with keywords is not likely to be appealing to readers; this kind of content is incredibly hard to read and just plain unpleasant for visitors. Don’t try to do this – well written content which is relevant to your site’s topic will be keyword optimized naturally; and it will make visitors want to come back to learn more. Having a large number of repeat visitors is better for your search engine ranking than any number of keywords packed into an article on your site.

Rather than investing a significant amount of time seeking to generate inbound links, it would be a much better plan to add features visitors will enjoy. This will make them repeat visitors that will perpetually frequent your site.

SEO is important and you should never neglect the optimization of your site. Just be sure not to do it at the expense of the visitors. Over the long haul, a website produced with the interests of the visitors in mind will deliver better search engine rankings and will also be more sustainable. Increases in page rank may come in a slower manner but organic building of traffic will always yield better results than more obtuse plans.
