WordPress Plugins Potential Viruses

January 15th, 2010

Blogger push their self to the limit in order to be best on the search engine industry. They post several new ideas, advices, and information over their blog to improve page ranking. But hackers are waiting for their chance to enter to your site to make necessary alterations on your blog to improve their site.

Spam Injection is one of the problems that Wordpress users face. It is a kind of software used by hackers to hide important keywords as well as improving their page rank. It mixes the decoded codes after embedding a database or server. However, Google Bot can help you to see these files during crawling. Detecting the problem is not easy to do. Most of them are embedded on a database level using Wordpress plug-ins or templates. Plug-ins makes Wordpress the center of Spam Injection attacks. However, it keeps the blog site more amazing than to its competitor.

Updating to the latest plug-in is not enough to avoid Spam Injection attack. Regularly change your password or choose a strong a password to avoid hacking of your site. Some of Wordpress users do not replace their default user name. You must delete your old Wordpress account prior to creating a new account. Then you will be given an option to transfer your previous post to your new account.

David Kierznowski of blogsecurity.net developed the \”no-version plug-in.\” It\’s a latest plugin capable of hiding your Wordpress version number and replaces it with blanks. It\’s one way of preventing hackers to see which version you\’re using as well as manipulating your site. As a result, anybody who searches your blog will not be able to see the version of your wordpress blog. Most of the files in Wordpress begin with \”wp.\” Hackers will have an easy access to your plug-ins if you are not aware of what they can do. You must rename your database files located at /wp-content/plugins to prevent hackers on controlling your site. You can as well avoid hackers if you will remove the index.html located at wp-content/plugins/ folder.

Bloggers must be aware that hackers are always around. You need to protect your site from the evil deeds made by hackers. Better start enhancing your site now, or else, you may become one of those unfortunate individuals affected by spam injection attack.

Get Backlinks In Different Ways

January 7th, 2010

It’s fairly obvious that an internet business is useless if it does not attract traffic. Backlinks act as if they were billboards directing people to your website, inviting in new customers and exposing your blog to a wider array of people. Read on for three more methods of getting backlinks to direct people towards your website.

Presenting your blog post to social directories will rapidly point backlinks to your blog. Done correctly, submitting your blog to Stumble Upon and Digg will generate a good number of backlinks and large amounts of traffic.

Article marketing remains an excellent method of getting traffic and backlinks to your website and as a general rule are fee free. You simply need to make certain that your author box is well composed and includes links to your blog. In this way you will get the links to your blog because the majority of the article submission sites do not permit direct links. However, if they do permit it, then saturate your article with links also.

- Post comments in related blogs. This is another simple, free way to generate backlinks to yourself. If your comment is relevant and intelligent, it will naturally attract more readers to your own blog. Adding comments to blogs that re related to your own is an easy way to propagate these backlinks. Most blogs will allow you to enter both your web address and your name within the comment box that accompanies each article. If possible, incorporate your main keywords into your name.

These three methods will get backlinks to your blog. All are easy and they do not take very long to do. Once you begin performing them with regularity, it will become habitual, much like checking the ever growing traffic to your blog. Hopefully, this will assist you with your effort to make money online and will enhance both your web-based business and blog.

Make Money Online Through Google Ad Sense

November 17th, 2009

Google Ad Sense is the fastest way for a beginner to make money on the internet. Most people think you just apply to Adsense and stick a code block on a page and wait for the money to come rolling in.

To be honest Adsense is really pretty simple but there is a little more to it than that. Adsense is really just a traffic game. The more traffic you have the more Adsense clicks you can get. That is where good page SEO comes into play.

Seo (Search Engine Optimization) is really just a way of saying you get your site in order to please the search engines. Mainly Google, if you please Google the rest of the search engines will be happy.

The first thing you need to take care of is the source code and layout of your page. This needs to be kept as simple as possible. You have heard the old saying “keep it simple silly”, When Adsense visits your page as well as the search engines also, you want the layout to be very simple to understand.

The second thing you need to achieve is to have each one of your pages target a certain topic. This way it is a easier for them to get indexed properly and for adsense ads to be consistent with the content of the site itself.

If there are certain keywords you wish to target make sure the word you wish to target is present in the title, in the first paragraph as well as in the name of the file. It is also a good idea to have the keyword in the last paragraph as well.

It is important for your page to have original and compelling content. The best way to accomplish this is to pick a subject that you are knowledgeable about and are very passionate about. That way with a little effort on your part you are bound to have a great page.

If after some time has passed and you are still not showing good results in the search engines listings, try to rewrite the first and last paragraph and the title also. Remember to base your article on just one keyword.

You will learn that SEO for Google Ad Sense is a pretty diverse issue. Books have been written about the subject. You might find that you have a lot of SEO to do in order to get more visitors to your website. It is best to just keep the site low key, not to fancy and visitors will be clicking Google Ad Sense banners in no time.

Blogging Myths Shattered

November 13th, 2009

A huge trail of controversies and myths still continue to exist within the blogosphere. This article was written to dispel some of the blog myths outlined below.

Anyone can start a blog. Not just anyone! Obviously, you should know how to use the computer, need an Internet connection and some experience using the Internet. You also need a host for your blogs; there are blog hosts that are free and some that cost a small amount per month. One last requirement is not just an ability to communicate your thoughts but also a willingness to do so.

Anyone can set up a blog. It all depends on your blog hosts. Some blogs hosts have simpler user interface and in minutes your blogs will be up in minutes. But there are others that get far more technical than the average users may be ready for.

Blogging is grade-school. When in comes to blogging, it’s the actual writing that’s the toughest nut to crack. The more engaged and knowledgeable you are with your subject, the easier and more interesting your writing will be.

Most blogs are political. Many blogs focus on political topics but most blogs are just bloggers discussing their lives, loves and travels.

Blogs are in competition with the main-stream media. This is true in a few cases (not as many cases as bloggers would have you think). Just recently, there have been some very popular and influential social and politically-oriented blogs that have caused main-stream media outlets to back-track and change their coverage of important events.

Bloggers are just having fun criticizing everyone and everything and have no new information to add. True in some cases. Today, blogging is much more than the personal activity it used to be. Corporations, media outlets, public personalities, politicians and experts in almost every field have now joined the ranks of blog producers. Considering all this expertise, one would have to say that bloggers have a lot of new information to add to any debate.

Blogs don’t always tell the truth. That’s a bit of an overstatement. You may read bad information and even intentional untruths in blogs but, for the most part, bloggers who state facts are stating what they honestly believe to be fact. It is always up to the readers to verify that any information they receive is accurate information.

Info Marketing Whats The Deal

October 26th, 2009

As I mentioned in my previous post Info is a multi-BILLION dollar industry and an incredible chance for you to make an additional income in or to even make this your profession. It is one of the easiest industries to “break into” AND it is based upon taking your knowledge and leveraging it. Let me explain: Info Marketing is the publishing, marketing and selling of Info products. both off-line (i.e. book stores) and on-line (i.e. websites).

You know Information Marketing best from books that you see at book stores or perhaps the exercise systems you can purchase from the TV Infomercials. Have you ever wanted to write your own book, share your knowledge, your system, your shortcuts? You may not have thought about the marketing and selling aspect of that but tha

How do we know? For the mere fact that I previously declared in my anteceding post… “last year three hundred and fifty two million individuals spent over $564 BILLION on information products. So… Do not you think there is an given chance there for you? Do not you think out of three hundred and fifty two million individuals worldwide (and with the growth of the Internet this number is sure to have already tripled) that there is a niche market out there for you? Sure there is! Go look on the Internet and see if you can find something similar. Someone is writing and putting information out there right now in your niche… why shouldn’t it be YOU?

I know what you are thinking… there is already too much information out there, or someone has already written a book on my topic… or Or OR. No excuses. Here’s the deal. There is nobody else out there like YOU with your knowledge, your experience, expertise, spin, etc. AND more importantly there are people out there that will resonate with you and your message or information but you have to give them the opportunity.

Let me take this a step further… Have you seen a book on imposed dieting? More than one book? Oh really? In fact let’s just narrow our search to Amazong for imposed dieting books and not even open this up to Google for worldwide returns…. On Amazon alone twhen you search imposed dieting books you get a whopping 33,758 returns on imposed dieting! Yikes!

Hmmmm…. Well now isn’t that interesting? There are a ton of books on dieting and new ones coming out what seems like every day! Yet they are all different, they all have their own spin and take on “Their System” I’ll talk more about this in my next post. Even with dieting a subject that would seem to be saturated by now and isn’t is an opportunity in Information Marketing.

You see there is never enough information and individuals need to know what you know. The only difference between the “experts” and you is that 1) they call themselves and expert and 2) they have taken action to publish and market their information in some format.

So back to our topic here on Information marketing/selling… I like to produce this simple when it comes to explaining what type of information products there and there is a lot… I call them clicks and bricks. Now you know what Information marketing/selling is all about and it is HUGE! I’m looking forward to training you in this Industry and to helping you get started. I know you will produce a positive difference in the lives of others when you share your information… your SYSTEM. Stay tuned for my next post on more about your System.
