Broadcasting Your Bra Color?

January 28th, 2010

Everybody knows that looking at someone\’s facebook profile can tell us a lot of information, maybe too much, about their lives- relationship status, hair color, favorite movie, bra color? Women are now taking stand against breast cancer in a new and unique way by stating the color of the bra they are wearing on their facebook statuses. It is resulting in some controversy, but you know the old saying, there is no such thing as bad press.

According to the Washington Post, a message was sent to women all over the world advertising this event. The message read \”Some fun is going on . . . just write the color of your bra in your status. Just the color, nothing else. It will be neat to see if this will spread the wings of breast cancer awareness. It will be fun to see how long it takes before people wonder why all the girls have a color in their status Haha.\”

As the cryptic one word statuses swept across facebook, many people went straight to Google to figure out the meaning. The reaction of many people? Anger. Groups such as \”Awareness For Breast Cancer is not about the COLOR of your BRA!\” and \”I Kept My Bra Color To Myself – And I Still Support Breast Cancer!\” have popped up all over facebook and naysayers continue to oppose this silly movement.

A silly movement is precisely what this is. Breast cancer is a serious disease that effects many women all across the world every single day. BUT-Anything that brings awareness to breast cancer is OK to me. It is a shame that so many people have turned a positive and fun movement, though \”silly,\” into a moral fight. A woman\’s bra color may be a tiny bit personal, but they are not posting photographs! Come on, people!

\”Many survivors were upset by the now infamous bra color postings of earlier this week. I was not, and I AM a survivor. It was stupid, but I did participate. Why? Because it got people talking about breast cancer. How did bra color relate to breast cancer? It didn\’t, but it got us talking. So, in a way it worked,\” said Marcia Hahnfeld Deitrick, a breast cancer survivor.

So why not put your bra color on your status? It isn\’t causing anyone pain. It is only bringing awareness to a noble cause. So, with pride and hope, I say PINK!

January 27th, 2010

Mounting a successful Twitter marketing campaign demands that you plan ahead. You\’ll need to formulate a solid plan of action that will form the basis of a long-lasting success. To do that, it\’s essential that you take into account your company\’s real situation, your market position, and where you\’d like to get to in terms of market share. Devise a plan that takes into consideration both your current situation and your attainable goals.

It is certainly possible to be successful with Twitter marketing, but it\’s by no means an easy road. Keep your chin up, put your best business sense forward, and arm yourself with a little know-how and you\’ll be just fine.

Take stock of your situation. Your real situation, unclouded by lofty aspirations of where you want to be. It\’s only when you can get a good solid handle on where your business is that you can move forward in a meaningful way toward success with Twitter marketing. Yes, it\’s important to have goals and aspirations, but you will never reach those goals if you are starting out on an unrealistic path.

One of the most important things you need to master when it comes to Twitter marketing is the tweet. Unless you learn how to master the art of the tweet, you\’ll never be successful at this form of marketing. If, on the other hand, you can learn to write interesting and consistent tweets, you\’ll be all set to succeed at Twitter marketing. Don\’t let your tweeting fingers go idle for too long, either, or you\’ll soon realize that your followers have abandoned ship and moved on to someone else.

Updating your followers via tweets is definitely important — it helps foster your followers\’ impression that you care about them and value their business. Be an Instant Leader: Buy Twitter Followers Today!

January 27th, 2010

Take a look at your business. Is it flourishing and doing as well as it could be? Are you just starting out, or is your business starting to look a little lackluster on the books? Unless your business is bringing in more money than you could ever imagine spending in 100 lifetimes, chances are it could use a little boost. And in this day and age, one of the best ways to do that is through social media marketing services like Twitter. The first step to Twitter success is getting as many followers as you can. To do that, it might be a good option for you to buy Twitter followers. Didn\’t know you could do that? Well, you can, and by the end of this article you\’ll know everything you need to know about how to go about it.

Similarly to Facebook or MySpace, Twitter is a social media network that, it seems, has become a part of our everyday vernacular. Everyone is using these services as a way to stay connected nowadays. And since everyone seems to have a cell phone growing out of his or her arm these days, Twitter is becoming extremely popular with mobile phone users. (Twitter messages are limited to just 140 characters, making sending a message from a mobile phone ultra easy).

Sending out a tweet on Twitter is similar to updating your Facebook status. It\’s a way to let your followers know what\’s going on in your world. Tweets can be big news (\”We\’re having a baby!\”), random thoughts (\”Going out for a drink; who\’s coming with?) or anything in between. Followers can respond to tweets and re-tweet them to their own followers, creating a very effective channel for word-of-mouth advertising!

But if you are going to use Twitter to promote your business, it\’s a good idea to remember to tweet judiciously. Only send out messages that are of so me value to your customers, and even then it\’s important to time your messages so that they are spaced out in a way that will allow your followers some breathing space between your tweets. You don\’t need to tweet every thought that enters your head!

What would it take for your followers to want to re-tweet your message to their friends and family, and encourage them to want to follow you as well? That\’s what you have to figure out when you are trying to create tweets that get noticed. Send tweets that are informative and that offer something your followers want or need to know. This is a great way to offer discounts, news about new products or upcoming sales, or news about what\’s new and upcoming with your business.

USocial.net, a web promotions company, understands that not every business owner will be versed with Twitter and the art of the tweet. They also understand that it\’s critical to get more Twitter followers if you are going to be able to successfully promote your business online. That\’s why they offer a new service designed to help businesses buy the Twitter followers they need.
