The Difficulty with Play Farmville.com

February 10th, 2010

They said that the more neighbors you have, the better; and the more gifts you send, the merrier. This is what FarmVille players usually do, aside from the fact that they have to grow their farm; they also need neighbors that they can visit everyday as well as gifts that could earn those points.

FarmVille really had a big name on Facebook when it was released, it was so popular for the idea of farming. But other than that they were also popular for having errors while playing the game. You could actually see a lot of threads about people talking about their bad experiences on FarmVille.

I remember when FarmVille was still new at Facebook, aside from not having much neighbors, the most usual problem that I would encounter would be not being able to view the game. It would only give me an error message saying that my flash player has to be updated when I\’m already using the latest.

Another thing would be the missing gifts. A lot of players would post questions on different forums on how did it happen and if there is any way that they could get it bad. Luck for those who were able to retrieve them after reloading the page, but for the others, it doesn\’t go back.

And if there are missing gifts there are also withered crops, but this is one is how the game really is only I wish it wasn\’t. Imagine not being able to harvest on time your 22 x 22 lot of crops, and when you logged in they are just good as fertilizers? That would really be a disaster.

Another thing that I could think of would be during those times where in I have to change my browser only to make it work. for example, I usually use Firefox on my computer, but when I wasn\’t able to access the game one day I was advised to get explorer or chrome instead and its really time consuming.

Also, if you are the type of player that couldn\’t wait for you to reach a certain level or get cash the clean way, and obviously you were finding ways on how you can cheat, then you must be warned. Scammers have been blocked if they were proved cheating and your account might be included too so do things the right way, you\’ll get there in no time I swear.

Having a lot of these complaints only shows how popular FarmVille really is now. People wouldn\’t waste time asking on advices and help unless they are so hooked up on it and wanted to play the game, so therefore I have to congratulate Zynga for the great game.

How To Place Itemss In Farmville on Facebook.com

February 5th, 2010

Most of Facebook users are so fond of playing a game where in they have to spend coins for them to build their own farm. They plow lots, plant seeds and harvest them on time which could be sold in the market for more cash. They also tend to animals as well, buying buildings, trees and even lakes that could make the farm look so real.

When I was younger, I remember that my mom would usually buy us some gaming stuff and they were just so easy to understand unlike the games that we have nowadays especially those that we have on most game consoles, however, games at Facebook were different, and they were so simple that it brings out the child in you.

Playing FarmVille was so easy for me that I thought I know just everything for me to grow my farm. I was so determined to earn lots of money so that I could get all the stuff that I need from the market, I wanted my farm to look so real that I always end up not being able to save much for buying seeds to plant.

When you reach level 7 that would be the time you will be able to sell your animals for cash. So for the mean time, all you can do is wait for their produce, line them up in a single line so they don\’t mess up with your farm, the only problem is you cannot rotate them, so they will be all looking the same way, but you can move them of course.

Buildings on the other hand are also great for decorating your farm, but sadly, buildings will only face the direction that you see in the market, so no rotation is going to happen here.

And if you are the type of player where in you regularly redesign your farm then you don\’t have to worry about the plots that have been plowed already. This is something that I do a lot; all you have to do is to find that red shovel in the bottom right corner to delete fields and other objects.

There are also stuff In there that you can rotate, just click on the item as if you are about to sell it and a menu will appear, and if it shows rotate on the menu that that\’s it, but if there\’s none then lets just hope they put one soon, especially the buildings and animals.

Playing FarmVille would not make you realize how much time you have been in front of the computer but it felt like it doesn\’t tire you at all, this is because the game is so full of fun and you have a goal to reach, so I guess all I can say is happy farming!

Farmville.com and Other Facebook.com Farming Games Are Popular

February 1st, 2010

FarmVille is a simulation type of game that is made popular at Facebook. All you have to do is to take care of your growing farm by plowing your lots, planting seeds; harvesting your crops, tending to your animals and building you farm with buildings, trees and even lakes.

FarmVille became so popular the moment it started on Facebook, and because of this other game developers were in a hurry to develop the same idea hoping they could have a share as well. When I tries looking for some other game titles I realized that FarmVille wasn\’t really first on this, so here are some that you might want to consider playing as well.

To start of, let\’s not leave the world of Facebook first. If Zynga made FarmVille on Facebook then you might also be familiar with Country Story. It\’s also a farm thing, only it was developed by Playfish which is also another developer of games. And comparing it to FarmVille, the graphics looks cuter than FarmVille although it\’s not that easy to advance on the next levels.

Some other popular games would be Farm Town, Barn Buddy and Sunshine Ranch since I usually see them being played by some other people. But when I tried searching for more, I was surprised to see a lot more like Island Paradise, (Lil) Farm Life, Happy Farm, Country Life, Farm Pals, Happy Harvest and Karma Farm.

For gamers who are not limited only to PC gaming then you might have heard of Harvest Moon. I really do enjoy playing this game since there are so many things that a player must do, it has quests and you could even have your own family as well. And since there is much room for the game map, you are not limited to the spaces assigned to you.

When Nintendo Wii was released, they also had a version of a farming game should look like, its called Animal Crossing. For pc users however, the best choice for off line games that you can download from Yahoo would be Virtual Villagers. It enables you to make your own family as well, build a community within your village and train your people on becoming scientists as an example.

And this actually doesn\’t end here, I don\’t know which comes first but there some game sites that offer a lot of games that you can play while online, some requires you to download while some do not. Games titles like My Wonderful Farm, Vegetable Garden, Farm Frenzy, Urban Garden, Virtual Farm, Farm Mania, Money Tree, The Farmer, Plantasia and so much more are just some of their farm games available.

So if you wanted to try more games like FarmVille then you better start now because I think a lot would still come out with better features and more fun to play. So go play all of them if you can and find your favorite.
