Facebook Has Become The Largest Game Site Globally

Facebook has become a global phenomenon and it is probably now the largest online gaming site on the internet. There are no public stats available supporting this, but you can make a few calculated deductions from the public figures out there. There are about 500 million users registered on Facebook. Out of these around three quarters of them play at least one game on a regular basis.

Facebook was intended to be a social networking site, and it still is one. But a lot of people are increasingly using it only for gaming and other fun activities instead of socializing. The only Facebook users who are using the site for networking are those who access the site through their mobile phones (most apps won’t work on standard phones). What does this mean for the average Facebook user? Most of us don’t think twice before giving these apps access to our profile information. These app developers get every update of our lives even though they aren’t officially our friends. This is a bit dangerous, because not all app developers are exactly…nice!

With a virtual population of over 500 million users, Facebook has grown to the size of a very large country. The citizens share many common digital interests. They enjoy chatting, gaming, listening to music and staying up to date with everything online. Facebook allows everyone the opportunity to come together and enjoy things together. This is an unspoken fact. Most people attribute Facebook’s success to its networking features. But the online gaming capabilities that Facebook offers can’t be matched by any other gaming portal.

Online gaming sure is fun, and it is all the more fun when you’re playing with your friends. Tilling a farm or shooting down a few gangsters sounds like a good idea for fun. But make sure that you don’t get too addicted to chasing games like these. One wrong click, one wrong app, and the developer could play with your information in ways unimaginable. This growth in population, resources and armies must be skillfully balanced against the defenses of your wildernesses and your cities. Building a second city will be prompted when your might increases. Make sure you build one quickly as it will allow you to build your resources twice as fast. It will also allow you to host a larger army and build more might. Around this time, you should consider joining an alliance. This will greatly aid you in defending your domain from more aggressive players.

After those quests are completed, you can work to build a third city. This is done by hunting for uber-rare Crests that drop from level five and higher wildernesses. After you collect enough Crests, you may turn them in for a Third City Deed.
