Conversely, you can add a free bonus which really costs you nothing, but is perceived as highly valuable by the buyer.
Another way to motivate visitors into becoming buyers is by telling them point blank that they will pay more tomorrow for the same product or service. I am sure that in the past, you have been offered a discount for purchasing on the spot. If not, I can tell you for a fact that this works.
