Webinar How To Tips – Host and Conduct Your Own!

March 16th, 2010

Webinars are not as hard as they look if you know a few webinar how to tips … and they can absolutely skyrocket your online or offline business. In fact, webinars convert attendees into buyers at a rate of 10% – 30%. Got your attention? Great, then let’s see what you need to host your own profitable webinar.

The first step is to put together a dynamite powerpoint presentation. In it, you will want to keep a balance of giving enough content that your attendees feel like their time was well spent but also creating a desire to know more, even leaving some questions unanswered.

Let’s face it. You can NOT teach all there is to know about your topic in a 60-minute presentation. And your attendees can not learn all they need to know in order to be successful from a 60-minute presentation. So, you owe it to them (and yourself) to offer “continuing education” at the end of your webinar. That continuing education can be in the form of a book, a service or a home study course – whatever you are offering.

So as you create your presentation, keep this balance in mind: give great content but leave something to be desired, and that will motivate your attendees to come back.

The second step is to find a company to host your webinar, and there are lots of good ones out there to meet your particular needs. Think through exactly how you will use it. For example, if you will host lots of people (1000+) at the same time, choose to pay by the minute per each attendee.

However, if you will have fewer attendees (less than 1000) and lots of webinars per month, choose to pay a monthly flat rate. Since most of the webinar hosting companies offer almost identical options, you will pay based on the size of your webinar and frequency of use.

The third webinar how to step is inviting people to your webinars. Once you have your webinar ppt created and chosen a company to host your webinar, now you need to think about who to invite to your webinar.

The best place to start is your existing email list. But what if you don’t have an email list? Now you know better! Lucky for you there are companies that can help you build this list. If you give them your customers’ physical addresses, they can return an email list to you.

In addition to your own email list, go to forums, blogs, or even yahoo groups that cover the same topic as your webinar. After you leave meaningful feedback of some variety, invite people to your webinar in the signature of your post. You can also use facebook, twitter, Google buzz, Squidoo, and Myspace as forums to find attendees. Announce your webinar there, and consider using an online press release.

And finally, don’t forget affiliates. Your competitors and other people you do business with would be happy to send their subscribers to your webinar if there is an incentive for them. Promise them a cut of the sales for people that buy using their affiliate link. Or promise a reciprocal webinar – you will send your subscribers to their webinar if they send their subscribers to yours!

So these are the 3 essential webinar how to steps to creating and hosting your own webinars. None of it is rocket science, but do these 3 things and you will see your sales skyrocket like never before!

Get Going with Google Adwords

March 15th, 2010

Google Adwords is the number one advertising option out there, and it’s become a symbol of the growth of the internet since the’90’s crash. Adwords has evolved to offer advertisers a plethora of new options for generating revenue while giving search users accurate results. Largely due to Adwords, websites are no longer just gimmicks, they are viable businesses, but knowing how to use Adwords effectively is your first step to gathering traffic and making your website a profit center.

Signing up for Adwords is something you can do in five minutes or less, and you can fund your new account with as little as $10. The first time you log into Adwords, you will notice a tremendous number of useful tools. But don’t spend time learning them right away. The first thing you need to do is to get a list of keywords.

That’s because the best campaign, at least at first, is one you keep in complete control. One of Google Adwords’ bells and whistles you should ignore at first is the option to start a simplified version of interface. This option takes away the demographic tools that make Adwords so useful in driving traffic to content specific to your site. At first, always keep control. Don’t look for easy ways to spend your advertising budget. And use your list of keywords, not theirs.

Where do you get your list of keywords? Start by brainstorming. Think of a list of keywords your customers would search for, making sure, of course, that they could find the content they want on your site. It’s OK to plug them into the keyword suggestion tool, but just because a keyword pops up that promises to bring lots of traffic, don’t pay for it, unless it matches your site. Many keyword suggestions will not be very useful for you, but anything that stands out as having a high search volume and low competition and also describes your services is a good place to start.

Even if the keyword selection tool suggests hundreds of high-search, low-competition keywords, keep your list to just 10 to 15. Using more than 15 keywords, you will have too much data to analyze as the results of your Adwords campaign begin to come in. You need to be sure your hard-earned ad dollars are being well spent. You can’t do this if you have too many keywords to track.

Adwords budgets are set in terms of dollars per day. For instance, if you set your budget at $50 a day, Adwords will never run more than $50 worth of ads in any single 24-hour period (although occasionally they may run one click over). You can set your account to run ads throughout the day at an even rate, or just spend the money as fast as possible, up to your daily limit.

Google Adwords puts you in charge of how your ads appear and who sees them. It puts you in charge of when your ads appear on the net, and how much you pay for a click. Matching your choices to your profits will make Google Adwords your very best tool for expanding your traffic and growing your profits.

Amsoil Review, Should You Join Them?

March 13th, 2010

If you are reading this article right now because you are interested in generating more income or are just looking at joining Amsoil and want to make sure it is a real business opportunity then read on.

Amsoil is a network marketing company based in the USA and has been around since 1972. This was when the first Amsoil product was launched. It was started by Albert J. Amatuzio who was a jet fighter squadron commander. While he was stationed in the military he had a lot of experience and spent a lot of time around lubricants and planes.

The one thing he discovered during his time as a lieutenant was that synthetic lubricants worked in 3 ways. They have the ability to reduce friction and wear on engine components, function dependably at severe temperature extremes and are able to withstand rigorous and lengthy engine operation without chemical breakdown.

It was this knowledge that spurred him to start Amsoil and offer a superior product to the market place. Today Amsoil offers a specialized engine oil that can be used for one whole year before it needs to be changed. That is a far cry from the normal change of 4 times per year. Yes it is a little bit more expensive than normal engine oil, but will still save you money over the one year period.

The company also says that they can save two to three miles per gallon on your fuel. Which is pretty amazing. They also say you can go on for 25,000 miles without having to change your oil.

They also pay their distributors well just like any MLM company does and rewards them with commissions and bonuses when they recruit new team members and when they physically sell the product. This is a very exciting model and can give the motivated members a real chance to really earn 5 to 6 figures a month.

So if you are asking the question of whether or not this is a good company to join. Whether they are a legitimate home business opportunity, then absolutely, they are.

However, like most MLM companies that are out in the market, they do not teach you how to market the business properly. Most MLM companies are still stuck in the stone age and use very out dated methods of marketing like speaking to friends and family to grow their business.

Now don’t get me wrong. Speaking to your friends and family can work out and is a good way to start marketing your MLM business, but it should not be the sole strategy that you should put in place. In fact, 98% of network marketers fail in their first 2 months because of this strategy. It is just too difficult to become a big time network marketer for most people by using this particular strategy.

Instead, you need to open your mind and expand your horizons to modern forms of communication like the Internet. Think of the amount of people you can attract to your business from all over the world. What if you could get hundreds of people to watch one video that you recorded in 15 minutes. How much time would that save you in the long run compared to doing meeting after meeting using traditional methods of marketing?

This is just one example of the tools you can use to leverage online. If you become a master marketer and learn how to use powerful tools to grow your business, then you can really start to write your own checks and gain real financial independence.

How You Can Type Out Articles More Quickly

March 10th, 2010

It can be a tedious business, writing articles. I know what I’m talking about because I’ve written hundreds this past year.

There is pleasure to be had, however, from finishing an article and knowing that it’ll be published and read by others.

I always aim to work quickly while maintaining a high standard of writing. The more articles I can write, the more chance I have of writing a great piece that people can identify with.

I’d like to share three tips with you that can speed up your writing. I always use them in my work as I’ve found them most effective.

First, you need to start typing faster. It sounds obvious, but it’s bound to speed up your work. You can, and ought to, increase your typing speed and this doesn’t have to be boring. Try one of the free online typing games and you’ll soon be typing more quickly

You should also try to think ahead as you type. This isn’t easy for everybody. But just think about when you’re talking to someone. I’ll bet you occasionally think of what you want to say next as you’re speaking.

You’ll be getting on just fine if your ideas are always a step ahead of the words you’re writing. There will be fewer time-consuming breaks, so you’ll finish your articles sooner.

One more piece of advice – it sounds weird, but have a go at writing about boring topics. Once you are in command of subjects you are unfamiliar with or find tedious, you’ll be able to quickly produce good quality articles on your favorite topics.

It would make me very happy if some of this information helps improve your writing and means we’ll see more great articles on the net.

Read more of this writer’s tips on topics like the guitar room humidifier and acoustic guitar straps.

Webinar Strategy – The Do’s and Don’t’s!

March 10th, 2010

Webinar strategy. Without a doubt, you have got to get this right to be successful.

First, what do you want to accomplish with your webinar? Do you want to educate your audience? Do you want to sell your products and services at the end? Do you want to train existing customers or employees?

Different goals require different webinar planning and webinar strategy. For example, if you are trying to educate your audience about your product or service, do you have a “call to action” included? Meaning, are you asking them to do something with the education they have just received? Like, call your office, visit your website or click on a “buy it” button?

If you are trying to sell a product on your webinar, design your webinar presentation with the pitch in the middle and your best points at the end. That way, they will remain on the webinar through the pitch in order to get to the best points at the end.

Consider using the “how to choose a professional” strategy. It works well for professionals who are trying to sell their services to new customers. You list ten crucial qualifications for picking someone in your profession. The catch is you will meet all of the qualifications. And since your potential customers have already met you through your webinar, they will very likely pick you to help them.

There is also the “done for you” strategy. This one works well where there is a complicated process involved. After you have explained everything they have to do, you can offer your services to do it for them for a reasonale price. One professional that could use this strategy is a tax attorney or accountant. He could plan a webinar that outlines in detail the biggest changes for the year in the tax law, even showing the forms to file and the deadlines.

After you’ve finished laying out all this information, offer to do it for them for a set fee. They will feel empowered from the content of the webinar but also relieved that someone else could do it all for them.

One more webinar strategy is pre-qualification through education. Imagine a webinar presentation that educates the prospect about your products and services BEFORE they get on the phone with you. They will be pre-qualified and they will see you as the expert in your field. After all, you are the only service professional that they have seen on a webinar.

A good example of this would be lasik eye surgery. A 60-minute webinar presentation with question and answer at the end would go a long way to screening the serious prospects from the people who are just looking. And the call to action at the end would recommend they call your office for an appointment to see if they are a qualified candidate.

Just think about how well your time would be spent on talking to the people who called your office after a webinar. A lot of their questions would already be answered, AND they would likely be ready to make an appointment.

Hopefully, you are seeing the huge possibilities that good webinar strategy and solid webinar planning can open up for you. If you design your webinar with right goal in mind and include a call to action in your webinar presentation, there is no end to the amount of qualified customers and leads you will attract!
