Recognize Your Best Marketing Assets

March 6th, 2010

Do you think and feel that you are not a marketing or sales person? If you own a business yourself, that already makes you a sales man or a marketing man. As long as you are in the business, that makes you one too. Whether you are good or not, your job is still categorized as a business man.

Whenever I do my seminars and marketing presentations, I would always highlight to my audience, which are business people, that their greatest assets are Attitude and Belief. These are the oars that would bring them to the destination they want. Your customers can see if you have the positive attitude and the belief towards the success of your business.

Attitude: Enthusiasm and passion are two nouns that you have to take note of. These two factors would show your clients how valuable your product or service is. Show the public how your product could make a positive impact in their lives. Confidence can be built. Do not be discouraged if you are a shy person. Self-confidence is a skill.

Belief: You don’t have to have a degree in marketing to get great marketing results. But you do have to believe in yourself and your actions. I call it a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you believe that can’t do something, you’re right – you won’t do it. On the other hand, if you believe that you can learn what it takes to get better marketing results you will. Therefore, you should try to attract positive vibes, as this could bring you success.

If you are persistent in pursuing your business and your small business marketing with a positive attitude and belief that you can, sooner or later you’ll find what works for you. You’ll discover the marketing strategies and tactics that allow you to begin attracting attention and bringing in new clients consistently! I know because it’s happening for me.

There are many different reasons why people enjoy doing freelance work, it is important to investigate the reasons why it might appeal to you. You will obviously have the choice and freedom to make your own decisions day to day. You decided when to take a break or fly away on holiday.

Being your own boss is great because it demands that you learn to take care of a variety of tasks that you would not normally deal with. You will get a sense of responsibility and well being from accomplishing tasks without a bigger boss controlling your time frame.

Web Site Marketing Services Key to Adding Customers in Down Economy.

August 4th, 2009

Have you fallen into the trap of reducing your marketing efforts during the recession? Although this may seem like a wise way to free up some more cash for your business in the short term, in actuality you may be passing up on an immense opportunity to grab valuable market share – while your competitors scale back.

Let me elaborate on this point a little bit further.

If you study the most successful people and businesses, what you’ll start to notice is that they’re actually more unconventional than you might initially think.

Take Warren Buffet for example.

While most think of Warren Buffet as a relatively conservative blue chip investor, he’s more contrarian in his strategies than he appears to be. For recent back up evidence, simply look at his multi billion dollar investments in Goldman Sacks and GE when markets were extremely volatile and uncertain. His recent investment in late 2008 totaled 8 billion dollars in these two companies (a huge chunk of his net worth) when many people were liquidating their investments from fear of further loss.

At the point in time when most of us were petrified of increasing our exposure to unstable stock markets, Warren Buffet made his play. He moved back into the markets with a massive investment.

You simply can’t expect extraordinary results by doing ordinary things. Warren Buffet does things that most of us won’t do, and these actions provide him with great financial upside.

Similarly, shrewd businesses also see this market downturn as a land grab opportunity that can offer high financial rewards. While their competitors slash marketing budgets and cocoon into a near hibernation, street smart marketers are engaging in a veritable market share land grab – and they’re topping up on cutting-edge web site marketing services at their disposal to help get the job done.

Why web site marketing services as a tool for lead generation? Online marketing offers several benefits over traditional marketing including:

1.) Online marketing, is generally more cost effective than more conventional forms of marketing – and is often able to deliver a better return on the marketing dollars you spend.

2.) Internet marketing can be tracked and tested quickly and easily. (often with a nominal expenditure).

3.) Investing in online marketing methods often present a long term payoff, in contrast to many traditional marketing methods. (ex: SEO and Affiliate Marketing partnerships often carry long term residual lead generation benefits vs. campaigns in radio, television or print which carry short term payouts – and spending must continue in order to draw additional payoffs).

4.) Internet marketing is flexible and easy to update.

The list goes on and on…

Amidst the current economic climate, I invite you to think out-of-the-box and go on the offensive with your marketing. Be smart. Think like a contrarian, and go against the grain – because that’s how big gains are made. Experiment with new forms of marketing like the many web site marketing services available to you and take a data driven approach to your spending. Seek to aggressively gain market share while your competitors are putting their business growth on hold.

Picking Your Affiliate Niche Market

July 15th, 2009

Personal talent and expertise are the greatest assets in any business, and affiliate marketing simply proves that fact. These are the things where people are experts, and truly know their way around the subject.

Niche marketing is based on a special set of needs. All sports, for example, create their own different niches. Their marketing, advertising and merchandising are all pitched directly at these individual niches. This is where you start needing to look closely at your own expertise and skills, and their match with your potential affiliate market, and what your niche involves.

It’s basic business sense not to dive in without checking where you’re going. You need to see proof you can make your affiliate scheme work, especially if you’re actively marketing. If you pick up an affiliate where you lack knowledge, and don’t understand the market, you’re at risk of creating a problem for yourself, and the risks are your time and money. Avoid anything where you’re not absolutely sure you can succeed.

Never mind the affiliate sales spiel, or the worthless industry hype about fashionable affiliate schemes. Unless you know you can make something out of them, they’re not what you need. The absolute bottom line is finding something that you can operate effectively, particularly in active marketing, where your commitments are much greater. This is the time to get very picky, ask questions, and get comprehensible, meaningful, answers, before committing years of your life, time and money to anything

You must operate your business on the basis of your strengths. In niches where you can use your own skills and expertise, you have instant, major commercial advantages. You start business with a very clear understanding of what’s involved. For active marketing, you don’t have to endure the tough learning curves. In sales, profitability will be more certain, faster, and build your business more effectively.

From the business perspective, not having to learn your way through an entire industry has a few things to be said for it, too. One of the reasons affiliate marketing works so well for some and not for others is that successful affiliates have the right mix of personal interest, market knowledge and the product, sales and business skills required.

Finding the right niche market for affiliates has some basic criteria:

You’re competent and familiar with products. You really understand and are interested in the niche. Your business knowledge base for the affiliate is fully operational. You can promote your own business effectively in the affiliate’s niche.

Niche N Easy.net is a full suite everything you need to do business. You have the niche, Niche N Easy.net has the tools. Niche marketing means finding your niche in the affiliate industry.

Network marketing works…if you work it.

May 14th, 2009

Network marketing has an very high failure rate. There are many factors this happens; one factor to look at is that people come into the business with crazy expectations.

It seems that they have swallowed the hype. They really believe that all they need to do is recruit a bunch of people and those people will go out and recruit more and so on and so on. Of course, in the end everyone will become wealth through the work of others. Naturally, this is usually far from the truth.

With this expectation, things don’t usually work out. Then come the blame game. They blame themselves, the company, the whole darn industry.

If you’re thinking of network marketing, ask the hard questions. Know what to expect your first, second and third year. You may not make much money until then! You should know up-front just how much actual work is involved. Truth be told, many of the top line people in the industry worked their tails off to get there.

A network marketing business is going to take awhile to pay-off. If you understand that and resolve to be in it for the long haul, you’ll be better off. Don’t think the riches will come for nothing.

When a person joins a network marketing opportunity, they will have to accept that for the first few months and possibly the first couple of years, they are going to have an income well below what their work would suggest.

This work, your future investment, will help you pull in the profits later on when the income starts to grow. Then, you may be surprised to find you are making more money than the with less work. When that happens, you savor it even more, because you know you earned it.
